It was close at the Half with Scott County up 3, Pulaski County even took a few leads in the 1st Half. But in the 2nd Half Scott Co. proved to be too much for Pulaski, out scoring them in the 2nd Half by 26 points, and outrebounding them on the night by 22. Pulaski was lead by Fitzgerald who had 19 Points & 5 Boards. Robb for Scott Co. had a solid night with 19 Points, 7 Boards, & 6 Assists. Moreno also had a solid night & getting a Double-Double with 15 Points & 11 Boards, Long added 14 Points along with 4 Boards and 4 Assists, & Watts added 13 Points for Scott County, Williams also added 8 Points and 5 Boards.

Scott Co.finally started clicking like I had seen them play several times this year should be a great one Friday afternoon!

When you over dribble like Pulaski did in 2nd half , Scott Co will make you pay for it.

Cards took a half to get it going but then the swarming defense (and the inside game of Moreno and Watts) kicked in gear.

Cooper Robb is fun to watch.

It was very impressive. It was just like you said. Lorenzo Williams made Colton Fraley work hard to get the ball up the court with simple, fundamental, high pressure, man to man defense.

 

It was fun to watch them play defense he way they did. Crashing passing lanes, moving their feet, beating players to the spot, smart double teams, great weakside help. Pulaski County never had a chance once the third quarter started and Scott County's defense took over the game.

Went into this game hearing how good Scott Co was and how they're one of the top teams in the state and severals peoples picks to win the State Championship, after the 1st half I was confused and questioning the thought process of those of you who had picked them to win, but then they showed up.

 

Great 2nd half by Scott Co, not a fan of them at all but that defense was ridiculous in the 2nd half.

Was Fitzgerald and Sylvester sick last night? I noticed that Sylvester kept asking to come out and get walk plus he was always bent over. Fitzgerald was throwing up in a trash can a couple of times. Not that this would have madder in the game because Scott Co. showed just how good they are. Best looking team so far in the tournament and best looking team I have seen this year.

66 shot attempts for Scott County and 43 shot attempts for Pulaski....that about sums it up. Does Scott press and push tempo? Stat line looks impressive

Scott Co. being Scott Co.. Turn up the D in the 3rd and go on a big run. Turn you over, out rebound bound you and get 2nd and 3rd chances. I have watched them several times this year and that is the story line for most games. Disciplined, very good TEAM.
