Southwestern is still a very good team with an explosive offense.. Don't sleep on them. Pruitt/Edwards is an experienced combination putting up numbers

Of note, Wiley Cain returned for Pulaski throwing 3 TDs. That's good to see.. Matt Hendricks was able to give the Maroons some good play when Cain went out week 1. The experience can only be beneficial as the season progresses Jake Johnson 9/142yards 2 TDs, 1 INT on defense.

Also, it's so weird not seeing a Wayne County player in the top 10..

That would be a tough loss for Rockcastle. They return a great core & were expecting a big season I'm sure. Hopefully he can get back out there sooner than later

What players do you feel should be in the top 10 & are not? ..without including people you would take off.

I can see them being in the 4-6 range. This year the 47th district will be the strongest from top to bottom which is a first in awhile. I could see all 4 teams in the 47th being in the top 6-7 range.

Pulaski started the 2nd half with a INT returned for TD and later had a punt blocked for TD. Obviously turning points in the 2nd half.

Heard Jake New and Jackson Moberly went out with injury in 2nd half.. Hopefully neither injury is too serious. Did either return to the game?

Halftime 19-14 Pulaski

SW may be the better team right now, Pruitt and Edwards both played well but to judge off the DM bowl wouldn't be the best.. The Pulaski/Harlan Co game was played in some dense fog most of the game.. I do believe Pulaski QB went out with injury before the game was over so that will factor in too. Jeffersonville had some athletes but as a whole their team was similar to last yr.. Did not seem to have much discipline.

NextUpRecruits had him getting an offer from EKU awhile back.

Pulaski County should also have a nice team this year- and also has one of the biggest gyms in the state with one of the largest listed seating capacities in the nation.

It's a site the $ that people spend on camps and opportunities to be seen. If you truly are D1 level player, your play will speak in real game situations. Furthermore, being talented individually will not win championships. I wish more focus was on developing teams than a bunch of ball hogs that enjoy seeing tweets about themselves more than their team winning a game. It eould be interesting to see a "where are they now" listing of previous years camp all stars.

Pulaski will have a lot of talent on their team next yr with some good size- they return three starters from a year ago Sylvester (Sr) Powell (Sr) Elmore (Jr) With the additions for the upcoming year, I would think they would contend for the 12th region and be regarded as a top tier team in the state.

100% agree- and in result create more open opportunities for himself.

Hopefully he can provide the senior leadership that will be needed out of him.

Pulaski had a weaker schedule but a lot of those games were out of control- Lincoln Co- Southwestern- South Laurel are all district game and required My guess is Madison Southern was in there because they were a district game up till this year. Henry Clay/Scott Co were boost to the schedule- Letcher County Central was a playoff game.. So not sure why you included that one? At the end of the day they made it back to the State Championship and put up a solid game against BG-- BG just had too much speed in the end.

I'm pretty sure that Gover was at Pulaski in middle school.

Many coaches do not get to see a lot of kids all over the state play. Relying on stats to vote implies that only kids that score a lot of points are worthy of the honor. Someone mentioned Doss not being represented because they have a complete team rather than standout individuals. Kudos to them. It takes an entire team playing both offense (which is more than scoring points) and defense.
