I expected to see him amongst Honorable Mention and was surprised to not see him there.

This post made last week by Jason Frakes . He stated that he had only 130 ballots for boys & girls. @kyhighs: @GreenwellTodd no, but that's boys and girls combined ... a pretty pitiful response, to be honest.

The CJ should post the names of coaches/schools that did not submit ballots. Four regions that did not even have 1 honorable mention?

Doss went to the final of the state tourney & didn't get one player mentioned .. I don't think Louisville schools participated very well ..

I would like to have seen St. Henry's Adam Goetz recognized as an honorable mention for the 9th Region.

 

He's an incredibly talented player with a very high IQ who was too often overlooked because of the team he was on.

 

Anyone who saw him play in their 1st Round loss to Conner in the regional tourney knows what I'm talking about. The kid is dynamite.

IMO Trevon Faulkner belongs on the 1st team..... Best player on one of the top teams

Totally Agree. Even the inclusion and exclusion of a few of the 9th region guys. Who's Who instead of What was what.

Doss seems to be more of a complete team as opposed to any standout individuals. If you look at their season stats, no one blows you away but the team results speak for themselves.

Considering that it appears that there was no specific number of HM's from the various regions, with some regions mentioning more than others, I wouldn't remove any of the 9th Region HM's to also include Goetz.

 

The 15th Region goes as far as recognizing 6 HM's so I would even consider adding Markel Mcclendon from Holmes to the mix. He didn't always rise to the occasion, but wow the kid is so quick that's it's hard to ignore his impact.
