Congrats to the Redhounds. Coach P and the rest of the staff have gotten the monkee off their back!! If the Hounds play like tonight they could make a run. Still can't believe Madison only scored two points.

My hats off to Coach Conway and his team they very well in the Region Tournament. However, I have to agree with Hank and others this game was the worst game called I have seen. I am not one to complain about officials, until now. They screwed up the call between Wardrup and Manns. And you didn't know what was going to be called a foul or not. They had one hard foul that Smith from Corbin got T'd up and then you had a hard rebound foul that a North player almost got his legs cut under him and there was no foul. I hope those officals will not be there again tomorrow night it is ruining a good tournament. If they are they would be better off with Stevie Wonder calling the game.

Leonidas I said the same thing about North/ Knox Central but North pulled the upset. I also didn't plan on Wardup scoring 21 against North. I still say Corbin is going to win this one but if they play like they did against Knox it could be a good game.

Holmes will win this one. I don't care what people say and what Dave Cantrell says, Holmes is one of the better teams in the state.

I am going to say that Mboro upsets South and that Corbin gets by North and Corbin goes on and makes the trip to Rupp. But don't listen to me I thought Knox was going to be playing Corbin. But who knew that North was going to upset Knox (other than Les!).

Great game however I have been told that South might have a rough time with Mboro. Guess thats why they play the games...

I have to agree with leonidas that SL is not in greater shape than it was three years ago. I am not knocking coach Chappell, but when you got the offense that he has had for the last three years you should have won more than he won IMO. I think going down to 1A ball is going to be tough because you don't have the student body that you do in a 5A school. But I think it will be interesting to see how the next three years pan out for him. And I again think that for a team to have any success you need a coach that is going to be there through the long haul. But these are just my two cents.

Personally I think Corbin should win this, but I still think Knox is playing really good and it only takes one game to mess up. Things would have been real interesting had Knox ended up in the top bracket.

I have to agree BGP'ers Les told me last night that "Dinky will find some way to win this game." So that means that B'ville will be a packed house Friday night.

Breeze girls play Thursday 7:30, boys play Friday at 7:30 both nights there will be some good games.

I'm going to say KC, but this will be a fun game. It will be closer than previous IMO.

Not knocking Wright but any team that Roscoe is coaching is going to be tough.

I'm going to go for Whitley. I think (hope) they can pull off the upset. They may win by one or 10 it doesn't matter, a win is a win. But of course you just can't count out a team coached by Steve Wright and Roscoe Denny. But I am thinking the crowd is a factor in this. But we will see.

The horse collar is a rule that I understand. The rule about the two yard box is a joke. The coaches are trying to coach give me a break. If they want to make a rule they can keep every Tom, Dick, and Harry off the field that does not belong. Again the wrong people are being penalized, the coaches, just let them coach.

Having the chance to meet Travis on a couple of occasions I have to say that Redhound say it best. You can do nothing but root for this guy no matter what it is he does. He likes to see his Redhounds win more than anyone. He wears his heart on his sleeve. It was a great article in the Times Tribune.

Seeing what Coach P did was a very class act. For one starter to sit tonight so that Travis could start was a showing of how far this team has come. Both the players and the coaches need to be given a pat on the back. Very class act.

Congrats Zach, you are the first player from Fort Knox to sign to play college football in quite some time. When I played at Knox it was a normal thing to have some players signing a football scholarship. So being a former player I am happy for you.

Blind draw is a joke and I wish the KHSAA would step in and make it a rule to seed in every district in the state. By the blind draw you make the season pointless and you sometimes do not put the best two teams in the district final game which is what you want.

It was a good game by Corbin until the 4th began. Corbin held it's own on defense and just let it go in the end. Congrats to South.

IMO it seems like Portland Christian doesn't play much defense. And anyone that is an athlete, or has been an athlete, knows that you can't go in and "not play" or try not to score. I have played sports all my life and I have taken some beating and I have been on teams that have recieved them also, but what kind of message do you send your team to go into the game and tell them not to play hard, but the next week in practice you tell them to practice hard and good things will happen?

Nice story, if this team plays like a team and doesn't worry about other teams then they should be playing in Rupp come Sweet 16 time. IMO I believe that Corbin, is the only team that can play up till Saturday in the Sweet 16. However, they have to get past the Region tourney. And of course there is South, but there is also Knox Central that can play with this team. District and Region for the 13th is going to be better than last years.
