I think its ridiculous at the shine people are cutting over these score's! If you dont want to get thumped don't play the game!! Yes we took plenty when I played and it didn't hurt me none!!! If anything it made me work harder to get better!!!! When these kids get out in the real world it isnt a piece of cake and if someone can beat them by a 1000 so to speak, they will!!!!! Quit whining and move on to the next one!!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree 100%. I get so sick a tired of the PC world we live in and how we are supposed to respect our opponent. When I was a kid I was taught to respect my opponents by shaking hands at the end of the game. Games like this are no fun for the winning team anyways. Most people like a challenge and this game, just like the Texas game obviously was not a challenge. It's not that hard to not schedule a team that is going to beat you by 95 points.

Also, before anyone says anything...these two teams are district opponents and the district voted to seed. And while Portland Christian is never a powerhouse, they are way down this year.

I must admit that I didn't even know there was a team named Portland Christian.

I doubt it and they shouldn't. I would say that PRP's second string JV players are better than Portland Christian's 1st string varsity. That is why the score is what it is.

You have to run the score up to get Litkenhous or Mr. Cantrall's powerful Atari computers to recognize your team. A prideful notch in PRP's belt I am sure.

To me, the circumstances of the game are what counts. If PRP was playing alot of subs and doing what they could, then they shouldn't feel bad at all. This is a district game and they need to play it. If it was 92-10 and they started pressing and trapping with their starters, that's a little different.

I'm an idiot. Portland and PRP aren't in the same district. Portland's district includes Brown, Central, Shawnee and St. Francis. PRP's district includes Beth Haven, Holy Cross, Valley and Western.

 

But they are both in districts that seed their tournament.
