The QB was running Staten to the sideline and Staten made a cut back away from the sideline. The QB who had overrun the play at this point reached back to grab whatever he could. Happened to be the facemask, and with the action of Staten cutting in the opposite direction of the player running full speed the helmet came off. You could tell by the QB's reaction immediately after grabbing the facemask that it wasn't intentional. The play was neither intentional or flagrant.

If I we kidding I wouldn't have posted this. Personally as a NKY football fan I hope he didn't buy out. It was great for NKY football and really the entire state for Highlands to knock off a national power like St. X. However if it was a buy out that's pretty weak for NKY. Beat them one year and buy out the next before they have a shot at revenge.

That is a possibility. I haven't seen the contract personally. I have just heard from coaches from more than 1 school that it was a buyout by Dale. Which would be awfully petty in my opinion.

The Cincinnati St. X contract. They played on Sep. 25th last year and the game has been replaced with Eastern.

If Highlands finished undefeated after he bought out of the St. X contract? Would you still think the same of him considering the buy out took place or would you put less stock into an undefeated season that included one less stacked team? What say you?

Ludlow ended their losing streak against Eminence in 2003 has to be the best to me. The hail mary pass caught while tip toeing the sideline was amazing.

The Ludlow Pendleton game was a good one! Lots of hard hitting and very good defense. The final was 12-2, and the game was 6-2 with 6 seconds left as Big Daddy stated.

Coach Stamm leaving to take the Conner job and very little varsity experience returning could make for a very long season in Ludlow. Good luck to the Lady Panthers..

Ludlow plays against Gallatin Co. on Fri. at 7PM at Ludlow. Everyone is encouraged to come out and watch this years team. I have a feeling they will suprise some people.

Seems that way, but its much better for the varsity program.

Ludlow has an awesome new halmet. Possibly the best I've ever seen at LHS. Come out and see them this year.

Ludlow's core group won the NKYFL Super Bowl 2 years ago. Nice combo of size and speed.

Ludlow's MS team should be decent in their first season.
