Just heard about the new defensive coaching replacements at North Oldham. Coach Martin made two good choices in Irv Hoffman and Rick Young. Martin stole Hoffman away from St X and I understand he talked Rick Young out of taking a couple of other jobs to come coach at North..Martin brought in a couple of good hires last season to go along with a solid staff. I know both Hoffman and Young well and they can coach defense. Their experience together has to be over forty years. Now that I think of it, Martin's staff probably has well over 250 years of coaching experience. Martin is a good head coach and and has built a good program. Bottom line, Billy Martin can pick his coaches but not his players. As a former coach and knowing something about the players he has coming back. I do not see him coming to Frankfort and beating our Wolverines. I don't really see North winning a district game. But it was two great hires. :thumb:

After the Wolverines get through with district play you will agree that they are Warriors. They will be Warriors next season as far as other district foes are concerned. North's last two years were glory days as far their meager output has been. North is an also ran as far into the future that anyone with football knowledge can see.:fire:
