Who wins?

Elder is very polished and have not lost in the Pit since 2006. Trinity fans be ready for some unfriendly confines and a big traffic jam afterward....

I know Trinity fans are of the belief they can do this...and I applaud them for that mindset, but no way. Elder wins this one big.

Elder in the Pit to tough. I think some Trinity fans will have a West side traffic jam and plenty of time to reflect on the loss while standing still leaving the area.

Its in the middle of an older residential neighborhood... find a side street and good luck. if you show up less than 25 mins early your gonna be late for the game. Also, not very scenic enviroment.

Not a very scenic environment, but once you get in the friendly confines of the Elder HS "campus", it is worth it. It is an old-school stadium built back in the 1920's. Concrete bleachers, 5 yards from the field, the whole bit. Buy tickets to split the pot. The PAYOUT at the Colerain game was $5,500. It won't be that big for your game but it will be a few grand.

 

Good advice on the sidestreet parking. It is not a good area of town, especially at night, I'm not going to lie to you. Right next to the stadium is a new parking garage on the campus of Elder's female twin, Seton High School. Parking will be $10 and you will have to sit in line to get out but you will be right next to the stadium and your call, and your walk to it after the game, will be safe.

Im going to say its going to be a close game, much closer than most people think. Beatty and his staff im sure watched the game on Sunday and they will have a gameplan to prepare for. Also I believe the short week will hurt Elder and they will not have the luxury of being able to watch their opponent play. Short passing game and an established run game could prove greatly for the Rocks. Im going to say it will be within a touchdown either way as I do believe the Rocks are improving and fast.

 

Do Elder and Cincy St. X come down here next year to play?

I watch Elder this weekend on TV. They looked pretty good against a tough Colerain team. This would be nice win for the Rocks if they can pull this out vs a #3 team in the nation. Win one for KY

Watched Elder twice. They beat a solid Colerain team and beat a very talented top 10 Nationally ranked East ST Louis team. East STL had some of the fastest players on this planet, but Elder just wore them down in the second half.

 

It would be great for KY if Trinity would take them down...but, just don't see it happening.

Elder wins this one. Close game 21 to 14.

I would love to see Trinity win this game for the state of Ky football but I feel this game is too early in the season for T. Maybe later it would be a better game. Does anyone know if Elder asked for this game to be moved to Sat. ? I know Colerain was upset with Manuel.

St. William Catholic Church has a parking lot about 4 blocks from the Pit. Easy walk, safer area. The immediate neighborhood around Elder is not as bad as you may think. And with large crowds around before and after the game, safer than any other time.
