  1. statmann what website are you using??
  2. They lost to Male twice back in 2006. Beaumont's senior season...
  3. I have two things because I'm tired of all this bash X and Trinity for being good... 1) they are all 16-18 yr old boys no matter what school or class they are in. Let them play football and to be the best you got to beat the best...that's what I've always been told... 2) I don't think California is whining this much about De LaSalle being great. And they've won 19 straight state championships!! Imagine the backlash that would occur if it were to happen in KY!
  4. I was standing in the end zone and I remember two particular end of plays. Both by a manual linebacker (same one actually). First play the trinity player is tackled and instead of letting him up he makes sure to hit the ball out of the trinity players hand a good 3 seconds after the play is over. The very next play he is not letting a trinity ball carrier up off the ground. There were many more other than that. I lEft shortly after those plays tho. Both times officials had to step in and talk to manual players.
  5. Well running off tackle on fourth down is not tryin to run up the score. Fourth and fifteen to be exact. If they were trying to score I'm sure they would have thrown the ball instead. Read the article in the CJ and I'm sure you'll agree just like both Manual's head coach and Coach Beatty.
  6. Question: If Trinity and Simon Kenton do meet, wouldn't the game be at Trinity because of them being a #1 seed and Simon Kenton being a 2 seed?
  7. It wasnt the 3rd highest streak ever. Just at that time FYI. I know De La Salle had close to 170 game winning streak a few years back and Trinity has already had a 50 game winning streak... To answeer the thread question. I believe a Trinity-Ryle state chapionship would be the same as a Trinity-Male or Trinity-Simon Kenton.. Trinity is a minimum 3 touchdowns better than any team in the state right now if they stay healthy and hungry and dont get complacent.
  8. I am just curious of how this will affect the regular season meeting between x and trinity. The district games are played in weeks 7, 8, and 9. X and trinity normally play week 5 or 6. Plus male-manual will now be on the same night. I think this is going to possibly hurt the two biggest games in the state of Kentucky. Maybe(and hopefully) I am wrong on this...
  9. X I believe without a first down
  10. The fire Marshall I believe stops them at 10,000. This is what I remember from them saying when talking to us about the stadium while I was playing soccer there.
  11. I thought the stadium seated 7500...I was at both games and thought it was more crowded for the x game
  12. I will say this. Trinity is hungry and will remember the disrespect shown in the state title game with a fake field goal being called followed by the bow on the field towards the Trinity side immediately after that touchdown...Trinity's defense also is improving each and every week.
  13. If you plan on going. Get your ticket early. Trinity is saying that it will most likely be sold out.
  14. Males top running back was out for the st. X game
  15. X has all of the pressure on them right now. Ranked #1 in 6A Beat Trinity by 25 in regular season (btw wasnt last years score 31-6, 25 pts) Best team at X Unbeaten in Kentucky Well I think that sets up as doom for St.X again this year. Trinity is playing at a different level than they were earlier in the year. The OL is healthy and Bishop is running the ball with a mission. Kragthorpe is finally healthy and has more younger playmakers in the lineup, especially Quick. The Rock defense is really underrated. They shut down the Male running attack which may not be up to X's level but it isn't too far off. And Beuhner with that ankle injury wont be as big of a threat to run the ball this time. If you all remember that really was the difference in the regular season, especially on crucial 3rd downs. My prediction is T 31 X 21 And for those who didnt know. The first game was 14-7 going into the fourth quarter and Trinity had plenty of opportunities but turned the ball over late in the games with an interception, fumble and a few on downs which set up most of the X scores late.
  16. If everyone is saying that it is all about the kids, then why dont they split the games up in half. Play 3 in Louisville and 3 in Western on the same Saturday. That way many kids are not missing classes and will not have to worry about playing on a Friday at possibly 11AM. With that being said Lexington will never be able to host a state football championship game until they get some turf on their field. As long as it is grass, the KHSAA would not take the risk of a decent rain event in the few days leading up to 6 games being played in a two-day span on a grass field. By the time the second day comes around the field would be all torn up and would cause havoc on everyone.
  17. Does anyone know how much tickets are at Trinity?
  18. 21-14 Trinity One minute into 4th quarter
  19. Not a trinity fan. Talked to someone at the game.
  20. Melillo ran it in from about 20 yards
