KHSAA Title Games in Bowling Green VS The 'Ville

Featured Replies

After reading the sidebar conversations going on in the 6A Predictions thread (even though the lead poster politely asked to keep the thread conversation to actual game conversation), I decided to post this out here, instead of in the thread.......I know, though, that it's been gone over and gone over and gone over......I just wanted to add my two lincolns to the mix.

I fully understand the concerns that some fans have with attendance and how the KHSAA will make out $$$ wise, but it's really water under the bridge now.

If the Louisville faithful (fans of the big 6Agame that generally ends up with these two teams) that would normally go see the game if it were at PJCS are really big football fans, they'll make the trip. If they don't, they don't. It may go down as a lessen learned for KHSAA, but let's all remember that it wasn't money or how many ppl would attend this particular game, that drove this decision, it was KHSAA being the low man on the totem pole and just not being able to get PJCS laid on due to prior committments to the ACC (if I remember reading that correctly).

Also, there are five other classes of football in KHSAA.....let's not get too arrogant and start thinking that the KHSAA is made up of "Trinity, St. Xavier and a few other teams that just happen to play football as well."

Later.

When Trinity and St. Xavier play each other in the finals, it is a windfall for the KHSAA....now that it is in Bowling Green, there is no telling. But when they played here, you can bet that they did better than the other 3 classes combined.

What's with the rolled eyes, there are very few Louisvillian's compared to our NKY bretherin.
