'ol#70 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 2-0 Henry vs. 1-0 Trimble. Henry coming off a less than impressive win against South Oldham. Trimble had the week off and will have two weeks to prepare for Henry. Playing this one in Bedford where Trimble won in 2007 with the "Birdman". How 'bout it TB & G, what say you? Gived us poll one this one Guru.
True blue (and gold) Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 I say that it is a daunting task, but my Raiders are up for a good challenge. :thumb: I'll promote good football and sportsmanship amongst the players and the fans. BTW, ol#70, you know that you can put your own polls in, right? If you want to know, PM me and I'll give you the details...it's fairly easy and painless.
Raiders4907 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 The raiders still have the bad taste of what happened last year in their mouths. Coach Collins gets the guys fired up and ready to roll. Raiders win 28-14.......
Raiders4907 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 The Raiders started the season last year with a blowout win over Casey County at the Dairy Queen Bowl only to get shutout the following friday by Henry County.
Lunatic1 Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Go Raiders! Henry is on a roll this year, however it would be nice to see the underdog win.! Good Sportsmanship and NO INJURIES.
'ol#70 Posted August 31, 2009 Author Posted August 31, 2009 Henry Co. JV"s @ Trimble Co. JV's Monday evening 8-31-09 @ 6:00. I'll take Henry in this one.
jvdfc Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I'll take Henry in this one. The Defense is playing awesome so far.
Raiders4907 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Henry County's JV just beat Trimble 40-2.
footballhd Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Does the JV game mean a blowout by Henry Co in varisty play? Henry is probably a little (or lot) better than Atherton.
Tall Trees Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Trimble should be able to give Henry a good game as they return most of the starters from lastyear and have a years more experience and they also have gotten out some of the schools better athletes to play football now. TC 21 HC 14
oldonetechnique Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I think Henry County is the underdog in this match up after looking at the scores and the schedules so far of both teams. Henry has not been able to score much, and TC seems to score at will.
footballhd Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Doesnt look to me that Trimble has faced much competition. Plus they have only played 1 game. I don't remember who they scrimmaged or what the score what.
'ol#70 Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 If J.V. game is any indication , Friday night's game could get ugly.
