I hope people keep under estimating the Wildcats, it should make for a very angry group of young men from New Castle.

Im not under estimating anyone. The Raiders will not overlook any game this year. They and I both are actually expecting this to be one of the more challenging games of the season.

I think Henry County is the underdog in this match up after looking at the scores and the schedules so far of both teams. Henry has not been able to score much, and TC seems to score at will.

 

But Trimble has not faced a Defense as stout as Henry Co. MLB is a beast.

The JV game would be of no indication as to the varsity game will turn out. TC's entire JV line is composed of freshmen and they have struggled so far. Only five JV players played HS football last year. The varsity, as Tall Trees said, is more experienced altogether. Now, that doesn't mean that results will be any different, just that you can't compare apples and oranges. I would venture to say that the kids playing JV for Henry Co won't see much playing time Friday either.

It's laughable if anyone thinks that Trimble County is going to underestimate a team that shut them out (very soundly) last year.

Doesnt look to me that Trimble has faced much competition. Plus they have only played 1 game. I don't remember who they scrimmaged or what the score what.

Trimble made a 5A school look down right bad according to the score. Henry edged by two very AVERAGE teams per the KHSAA. Trimble pulls it off late, 28-20.

Neither team has played anyone, and Henry has struggled on offense by looking at the scores. So I am going to say Trimble Offense keeps HC D on the field, and that might spell trouble. Has Henry Seen the Spin Offense that Trimble has put in? Could poise some problems.

I can promise you that Coach Ledford (DC) has, and can adjust to whatever Trimble runs. Now the players will have to execute for it to work though.
