  1. Great post! The best officials are the ones that you don't even know their names at the end of the game.
  2. Latest AP 3A poll. 1. Belfry 2. Breathitt County 3. Estill County 4. Lou. Central 5. Mason County 6. North Oldham 7. E-town 8. Sheldon Clark 9. Russellville 10. Butler County 11. Russell 12. Harlan County 13. Union County
  3. Yeah I feel for the Camels, tough break.
  4. Thank you, thank you. Not getting a buck this weekend threw me off my game, but I'm focused again now. Has anyone looked at the latest AP rankings? The Raceland, LCA, Fairview district was represented well.
  5. Would like to see Powell pull the upset but don't think they have enough to beat Taylor on the road. Taylor 28 Powell 7
  6. Bath easily in this one, but if they do get past Leslie they have a very tough game next week. :scared:
  7. Also, with the above sports you can play back to back days, with football you can't.
  8. Exactly, teams have to respect Arthur's arm and at the same time account for where Wilson lines up on offense. They seem to hum along a lot better with this personnel.
  9. Shouldn't be a problem, I think the bus left Fairview last night.
  10. Wow, you Raceland parents really shouldn't require your boys to have jobs during the football season, they have a game to prepare for. Just kiddin', now I'm waiting for the "go to war" analogies to start flying.
  11. Doc I've been on a list like this pretty much non stop.
  12. Lawrence County was 0-10 and MADE the playoffs. :scared:
  13. I favor taking less teams in the playoffs which cuts down on the 0-10 or 1-9 teams getting hammered in the first round. I would like to see the top two from each district in the playoffs. Of course then you have the argument of better teams from stronger districts getting slighted for weaker teams in weaker districts.
  14. Both are very tough districts, Johnson Central, Ashland and Bryan Station were all strong this year as well. Refreshing to see some good quality teams playing one another in the first round!
  15. On a positive note they wouldn't be the first this season to have trouble stopping that running game.
  16. You mentioned the feeder system, who are the coaches at Verity this year or last year for that matter? Strong basketball knowledge? A strong middle school program is a vital asset to a good high school program.
  17. Wow, can't see this being close at all. Bell 63 Lawrence 7
  18. If Boyd uses the same personnel as the second half against Fairview with Arthur at QB and Wilson split out or in the backfield I like Boyd by 3 TDs. If they go back to Wilson at QB, Boyd by 7. Too easy to gameplan for Wilson when he's at QB, much more dangerous when he's running or receiving.
  19. This is a great first round game, I'll say CCH by 7 in a shootout.
  20. Man I'm having a bad day posting. The Eagles of Fairview. Come on guys, context clues, context clues.
  21. Can't see this being a game at all unless Raceland gets food poisoning at Sideline's pregame meal. :scared:
  22. Whew, I don't see a tough game in the bunch there. Kinda makes you want to go back to the top 2 teams in each district making the playoffs.
  23. I really like Estill's chances of a third round rematch with Breathitt County. Go 'Neers!
