I have seen Fairview do the same thing in the past. Like in 2002. Against Raceland. Like 56 to 6 Left the starters in the whole game. Good win for Boyd Co. Should move to Number 5 in the super 7. Don't you think. But, That is not the same coach that Fairview has now. He I don't think would do that.

Good job Boyd on the win, Fairview played hard tonight as it was a good game all the way around. I actually think Fairview has better skill just didn't play the best. Just from what I saw Boyd made several nice plays on Jones, but Fairview was it's own worse enemy with offsides, kicking, and turnovers. For a 4A vs 1A game it was sure a dandy, normally 4A schools should dominate.

It was 4th down, they had to run it or Fairveiw would have had time to run a couple of plays. It almost got almost got ugly when Boyd scored 20 unaswered points in 10 minutes, but the Eagles dug deep and mounted a nice comeback to keep it respectable.

Good job Boyd on the win, Fairview played hard tonight as it was a good game all the way around. I actually think Fairview has better skill just didn't play the best. Just from what I saw Boyd made several nice plays on Jones, but Fairview was it's own worse enemy with offsides, kicking, and turnovers. For a 4A vs 1A game it was sure a dandy, normally 4A schools should dominate.

 

Why does everyone get caught up in classifications? If I took the top 15 players from Trinity, Saint X, Bole or Bell Co and put them on Fairviews team wouldn't they still be able to beat almost anyone in the state? People, what matters is the talent you have in the school and then how much of that talent you can get to play the game and then how well the coaching staff can bring it all together. The clasifications only tells how many kids you get to choose from which gives them a little advantage! I would say Beechwood a 1-A school could probably beat 90% of the 4-A schools in KY so how does the classifications matter that much?:ylsuper:

Not saying much, 4A is not exactly stacked with power house teams. Top to bottom, it may be our weakest class. I'm not saying we don't have good teams in 4A. That's my point, classifictions mean nothing but how many students attend your school. So people just need to stop saying "this 1-a team gave this 4-A team all they wanted" just say "this team gave that team all they wanted". Good games come from teams that are equally matched talent wise, no matter what classification they are.
