Kids don't play hard. Little or no defense. Try to get their own and not worry about the team. Polson definitely is not that kind of player, to thrive in that kind of environment.

Just gotta wonder how much gas is left in the tank for ole' Rex. It's going to be a while before Boyd County is a factor again; will Cooksey stay long enough to re-build the program? Cooksey and Hicks have a lot of baggage, and it would be hard for me to hire a man that is always looking for another job (Hicks). Randy Anderson does a great job.

What I am saying is that I do not believe that BC would be 9th region champs, much less .5 seconds away from the Sweet 16 semifinals if Moss hadn't transferred from Ryle. And I don't think its a stretch to say that. Do you think they would have beaten Ryle if Moss was still there? If you're being completely honest with yourself then the answer is probably not. I didn't say anything about any of the other players, but when a front runner for 2013 Miss Basketball transfers in, it changes the face of your program.

Bobby Hall is a quality official. Why would he care if Scott County won or not? i do know that Hicks spent the entire game wearing him out and did a whole lot of crying and very little coaching. An a side note, Scott County will be sponsoerd by Toyota AND Kleenex next year. Major underachievers.

Pouncy is great; and a great guy. Gearhart won't be in the high school ranks for long, and the HS loss is the college games gain.

Will make no difference. He will still get 35-40 in his house, and there is absolutely NO danger of him getting ino foul trouble in Sandy Hook. If Terry guards him, his night will be limited.

How would it impact the invitations if one region had, say, 11 teams that qualified enrollment wise and another region were to have only 4-6 that qualified to participate?

Had no idea Bath's enrollment was that large.

TK is a great kid; great to talk to and very humble. He was engaged last night against Russell, and might have gone for 50-60 if the game was remotely close. I think he had 4 dunks so he was definitley getting to the rim! Congrats Timmy!

Nice article on Knipp in today's edition. For those that constantly question his volume of shots, look closely at his overall FG percentage.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe teams may use any ball they choose for regular season games, but are required to play with the Rawlings with the KHSAA stamp in tournaments.

Some very good observations kyprepfan; I saw them (Manual) last year in Morehead. Much the same story. Very athletic, very undisciplined. If they don't turn you over and shoot layups, they are sometimes unorganized in the 1/2 court.

Some times the "bullies" (traditional basketball powers) get hit in the mouth and don't like it; may even feel threatened! EC had a storybook season (or 3) and got some national notoriety that many bigger schools have never gotten. Obviously, it didn't sit well!

No school, no play makes NO sense if you live outside a metropolitan area. Period. You deal with the headaches of re-scheduling games, buses, etc and see how you would like it. One thing that is blatantly obvious in American culture is that common sense has taken a back seat, or is non-existent today.
