Channel 18 Sports said Scott County won it on a 35 foot shot as time ran out.

Correct. Tough way to lose but Boone represented the 9th very well.

Oh it was a heartbreaker! Great game and Boone can leave the State tournament with their heads held high.

Looking at the box, it appears that Scott Co. won the game at the FT line. Got there more often and converted nearly +20% than Boone. Still a tough loss none the less. Sounds like they can empathize with Michigan tonight.

I know we have talked about Moss all year long but to be as dominant a player at her age is something special. Congrats to the Boone team on a remarkable season and good luck to Scott County in the Semis.

Well you know Boone County was well coached by that article. It lists Nell Fookes and Nell Fortner as coach. That duo should win you a bunch of games! lol!!!

I hated to see my Lady Rebels get defeated. They played a hard fought game and gave it there all. Hold your heads up high because you represented us and the ninth region well. We are very proud you all!!!!

 

We will truly miss our departing seniors!! I wish you girls the best of luck after high school.
