Campbell County is finding ways to win. Coach Styer and staff are doing good things in A-Town. A chance for a playoff game at home would be great. Kremer and Co. keep rolling on offense. I have not seen a better QB this year. Highchew has Cain and Kelly, and Lawernce has great feet. But Kremer is like a good point guard, he makes everyone around him better.

Once again Highlands understands and CC BOE does not. If CC Boe cared about football they would have said use the flield any Sunday (no school events that day anyway) you need, kids, tax payers enjoy our field. I am fan of CC football. I want them to do very well and would love to see the BOE fix some of the issues. Only they have the power to change things. Not you, me, the kids or anyone else. They need to Build a new stadium. Open it up to Brosart (the extra revenue would help pay for maintence). Let all kids from CC area play there. Even if it is only 2 games a year. Get behind the programs. The kids all get along, why doesn't the adults and BOE understand this? If you always do, what you always did, you will always get what you always got. Lets do something different and get something better.

Actually it was 50 years. The current BOE decided they don't like our kids or tax dollars. But they did us a favor. We now use Highlands as our home field. They like our kids. And they care about there football program. But I think it would be great to see a new stadium.

The Red Devils do not use the stadium. They don't like the our kids or care about our tax dollars either.

CC did what it had to do to win. Missing 2 linebackers because of injuries, and still contained Connor's QB. It was not the prettiest, but every 6a game is a challenge. Ryle will win the district and got beat up doing so.

I agree. With ICN 6 gone. This is the only way you hear about the unsung teams and hero's on Friday night. I want to read more about some of the hard nose players that give it there all. Places like Scott, Connor, Cooper, Ludlow, Dayton. I hear so much about the great players from Highlands, Ryle and Sk, I fell like i had them over Dinner Sunday night. Fried Chicken, Mashed Taters, Camel Stew.

This Senior class for CCH is a very determined group. They have not convinced themselfs that they can win yet. But they are not giving up during the games when they have been behind. They found there heart against New Cath when losing. They have found there soul against Ryle. Now is the time for them to get there wins. It is more fun to cheer for kids who are playing hard and losing, then to read about winning teams complain about how they won.

My post never said they looked good losing. Agree that happens there. What is important is that the Camels where on the field and beat Boone. And played a great game against Ryle. If you were assuming that my post was cheering for an almost win is the same as me assuming that Ryle wanted a close game, and Boone wanted to lose. Coach Styer wants to win as much as anyone. He played at CCH. Went to University of Dayton. All-American center. Played on the same team as John Gruden (Gruden was 4th string). And Kerry Combs was on that team. Troy came back as a teacher to CCH and has been there over 20 years. When 2 people turned the job down in 2 weeks. The school keep asking him to be Head Coach. He took over in July that year. Because he is loyal to the school and kids that go there. The school Board and Admin. are terrible. There is only one other coach in the building. They lose good football players to Highlands and New Cath. This is because these players parents know they fire the coach every few years. My point is that not every team is Highlands or Trinty. The kids at CCH play hard every day. More teams need to get credit.

Troy Styer and his team has played some very strong teams this year. They smashed a bad Norword team. Lost a tight one to a very good Roger Bacon Team. Had a bad week against Cov Cath. Lost a another close game to a great New Cath Team. Beat Boone and everyone talks about how bad Boone is. Plays the The Self annointed powerhouse Ryle Raiders to the last drive of the game. Everyone says what is wrong with Ryle. Campbell County is a good football team. They never quit. The have came back in games that people thought they would get blown out. I think they a have a great chance to be 2nd in 6a up here. They have some great players in Kremer, Cox, Rebholtz, Durham, Geiman. I think they will make the playoffs and get there first playoff win in over 10 years. Come on, Show some love to a team that has worked as hard as anyone in NKY.

What happened to Elliot? I heard that he got hit hard and did not return.

This is a good win for Coach Styer and his team.

Ryle coaching staff always seems to self implode.

It still shows that NCC plays with class. There focus remained on the game and doing the right thing. It was only a few years ago that CCH ran a fake punt in the 4th quater when up by more then 40. Cov Cath parents where no better tonight. There was a time when Cov Cath showed class. It is a great school with great kids. But someone needs to tell the adults that paying tution doesn't give you the right to act the way they do.

Coach Eviston showed allot of class by taking a knee on the 1 yard line with 38 seconds left.

Good Job Camels. The majority of players on Frosh are Red Devils. There are some good players. Wood, Geiman, Richardson, Kremer, Sebastion could play for any team.

The biggest problem is the lady who runs the fields for Campbell CTY schools. She has made poor decisions concerning all fields. The money she has wasted on grass, sod, rubber tire(twice), grass and sod again and then Bermuda grass, would have paid for turf. They have redone the track also in the last 8 years. It is not in any better shape. And now the field still looks worse then when she started. I would love to see how much money it has taken to do all of this and still pay people to water the grass, cut and apply chemicals and then it still needs to be stripped every week. Management has never been a strong suit for the Board of Ed of Campbell Cty. Nobody does it like Highlands. They let everybody use there field. Soccer, T-ball, coach pitch. Youth football. That includes practice. No one is denied use. The lady who runs Highlands field says yes to every child that needs a place to play.That is why Highlands is successful in everything they do.

Corey Pelle is a baller. just went over the 1000 point mark at his college. He can jump over and around anyone in the gym. I don't think he ever guarded his man. he went right after the ball wherever it was and got there.

Michael Kremer Campbell County, No. 1 passer in the state. Playing in the toughest 6a district in the state.
