Ryle only beats Cooper by a touchdown...

 

Maybe Cooper is better than many of us give them credit for but this is a terrible showing by Ryle. Given their changes in offensive coaching and now this game is it time to send out a SOS in Union?

Cooper appeared to be a solid team when they played JC in Week 1, which I believe was there first game of the season. Bradley is a great back and the team as a whole appeared to have both good speed and size. They have good offensive balance as well.

Ryle coaching staff always seems to self implode.

Defense is Ryles problem gotta be able to stop a one headed monster like Cooper.

Honestly I dont get to watch many 6A games but judging from what I seen out of Cooper in Week 1 I would think they would be a Top 10 team or on the verge of. Much better than some of the 6A programs I have seen in Lexington. But with 6 classes, our football is so watered down that being a Top 5 team IMO isnt saying alot. Each class appears to have 1 or 2 programs that are superior to their competition. With the exception of 3A or 4A which seems to have better balance accross the board.

Cooper also got beat by Holmes though I think its hard to judge this team right now.

Agreed, like I said, I watched this team in Week 1. I have just followed them since that matchup on here. At the time they appeared to be a solid team, much better than most people were giving them credit for the predictions thread leading up to the JC game. But watching them I was impressed with Bradley and their ability to beat JC of the LOS. I also thought their QB had a decent arm and could move around in the pocket well under pressure.

I think really this game just shows that Ryle is maybe more vulnerable than some thought, and that Cooper is probably better than alot of people thought. I still think Cooper could take the 3rd district spot, not saying it will happen but I think given the parity in NKY 6A this year I could see it happening.
