Whats Coach Mitchells overall record? Is he above 500?

He has had some good teams. What 3 years did he make it to regional final? Odd thing about it though he has never won a district title, 3 way tie one year or 2 years where he lost out on tie breaker.

Whitley wins easily I think. 52-6. Labanion playing or not playing won't matter. If LC can stay health through their first 3 games they will have a chance to win the last 7.

Basically, Bwood and FTH are magnet football schools............

With Lowrie and Barton out for probably the year the District favorite swings to Campbellsville with LC right on their heels.

I don't tink Rollins can be replaced but Lowrie and Barton will be very good in the backfield. More speed than lawson but not as strong.

They must be hoping to get some big $$$$ from sponsors because there is no way they get $$$$ from gate and concession.

How much are they guaranteeing each school?

I think that one team was ranked Bell Co. I also believe Letcher Central was ranked top 10.Not sure about Rockcastle. Middlesboro might have been ranked also.

Was 3 lifts bench, squat and power clean or dead lift.

I think 2 moved. The one that didnt recently transfered back to MC. All 3 came before their Freshman year.

In my area there are 2 many games. I can think of several occations this year when a boys team would have a game and girls team would play same nt different place and middle school team would also play someplace. Then you throw in elementary games and its a possibility of haveing 4 teams from 1 school playing on same nt in 4 different places. I know this happens in several schools.

Yep. Why take 6-8 games away. Most schools only get another 20-60 in during the summer.

I think its a good thread. No reason to take offense to it unless there is some reason you should. I see no reason to think any of these student\athletes transfered for athletic purposes. I think its fun to see where they would have been and where they are now.

My son and I will be arriving Friday morning and staying downtown until Sunday morning.

He did leave for some personal family issues. Nothing he did wrong or family did wrong. Health issues in the family. I believe he will get back into coaching but probably not for a few years.

Bet they are in different districts.

Agree. I use to think Clay County had this huge cult following then at the Sweet 16 in Rupp they were a small bunch down in one of the endzones.

:confused::confused:No way he deserves this award. Nothing against him but he didnt do a good job this year and IMO has NEVER gotten the most out of his teams.

I hope Elliott or Corbin win the whole thing. But Elliotts gym seats 1200. To think they will bring the biggest crowd or 4 or 5000 people I just cant see.
