You don't have to beat a team by 82 to prove your superior or make a statement. I believe that was determined within the 1st minute of the game. Again, play your reserves and rest your starters for the semi's. Why take a chance of one of them getting injured when the game was over in the 1st. I agree with I4C, slow it down and run sets.

Looks like this was a classic example of running the score up. Starters in until the 4th quarter, run and jump defense, and steals/layups the entire game. You don't have to beat a team

No disrespect to Holmes but they also appear to be a two trick pony, Bolden and Chames.

Owen is going through some growing pains. They start 1 senior and 4 freshmen and their first two players off the bench are an 8th and 7th grader. They will learn a lot this year and if they work hard and improve as expected, they will be tough in a couple of years.

Once the ball is put into play (becomes live), the possession mistake can not be corrected. Yes it should have been a technical on Team B if the infraction was discovered at that time. No way do you have a "redo".

What I've seen, it looks like Grant County has forgotten how to play defense. I wasn't a fan of the Hicks system but they did get after it. This year's team is lacking defensive intensity and playing soft.

Boone didn't play well and Walton played as bout as well as they could. The officiating wasn't a factor in this game.
