This is an interesting score considering Cooper just took GC's spot in the coach's poll. GC is a good team and I don't think they get true consideration of being an NKY team, so they always slip a little in the NKY poll.

 

Cooper has been playing well too. They beat, played with and barely lost to some pretty good teams if I'm not mistaken.

Cooper didn't play bad...they ran into a buzzsaw. The two GC guards were very smooth and were complimented very well with role players. They shot 63% and hit from everywhere even with defenders up in their faces. They are certainly beatable, but any team that tries to run with them better have a solid gameplan with players that can execute or it could be a long night.

I would like to give Cooper head coach Levandusky a big congrats. She has taken a program that has struggled at times the last couple of seasons, and has them defending better and playing up to their potential. Coaching can and will make a difference.

Agreed! They seem to be walking with a bit more bounce in their step and "expect" to win each time they step on the floor. That confidence starts with the coaching staff.

Didn't seem like Gallatin missed a shot all night! They shot the heck out of the ball. The Dossett sisters are fun to watch.

 

I was very impressed with the decision making of both Dossett girls. Both had a number of assist and shared the ball very well. Very intelligent players.

 

Cooper struggled taking care of the ball in the 3rd quarter and allowed Gallatin County to make a big run that put the game away. Cooper went into half time with a lead but paid for the mistakes with the basketball. If you turn the ball over against Gallitan they are going to get a lot of easy points.

 

Coach Levendusky has the Cooper team playing very well. I think they will only get better as the season rolls along. Very glad that my daughter has the opportunity to spend her senior year under the tutelage of Coach Levendusky and her staff.

They will play at SK on Feb 4th.
