If you are talking about Plunkett, you have been given some bad information and you are mistaken. They just had a baby and he had no desire to coach because he wanted to be a father and watch his child grow up. Family first and coaching wasn't his top priority.

From what I've been told, none of the former assistants will be back. I think that will make it difficult for Coach Grammer.

I don't know what went on between Coach Hicks and the administration and I really don't care. Coach Hicks seems to have a track record of only staying at a school for two to three years and I don't know why this is the case. Why can't he stay at a school more than two or three years? People shouldn't be surprised that he is leaving Grant, whether it be his choice or influenced by the administration. He just don't stay long at any place.

Yes, Grammer is the coach. I think this is a good hire. He is young and energic. Did a good job in his only year at Seneca.

I never said that GC is a contender without Carr. Read my post more carefully. I said they will be a contender no matter who they hire as the coach.

Coach Anderson told the players and coaches that he would not be returning. Bennett probably said what he did because Andrrson is still the coach until the paperwork has been processed. He will not be back. Another good coach calling it quits at Walton.

1. I know Reinhart for sure and a few others that I am not familiar with. 2. Close bond with Hicks and hostility towards the administration seems to be the answer. I think it's somewhat childish that they won't give the new coach a chance but its their decision. I really wouldn't be surprised if Carr returns next year. Grant will be a contender (no matter who the coach is) and Carr will be the main stud of the team. Leaving makes no sense.
