Simon Kenton had a small army with 20+ players

Cov Cath missing a lot of key players with 2 8th grade graduations at their feeder schools

Dixie not there Beechwood took their place

NCC only 8 players but a solid group

 

Scott beat Beechwood and lost to Cov Cath

NCC beat St Henry and Cov Cath

Simon beat St Henry and Beechwood

I thought games were going to be at Scott and Woodlawn.

 

I was surprised to see all games at Scott going across the gym instead of the full court. Looked like Woodlawn gym was being used by an AAU team for practice.

 

Hopefully, next week games will be at both locations and full court.

Woodlawn or Woodland? What a great idea. Didn't realize there was a 'league' for freshmen.

Scott has hosted this league for the last six years.

Beechwood was missing Lucas Benson because of some kind of baseball function, which I agree right now is first priority.

It will be interesting to see how CCH and SK handle having 20+ kids at these games. Last week SK had 10 play the first game and 10 play the second game split pretty evenly. They won both by wide margins. This will probably not be the case this week when they play CCH and NCC. After watching week 1 and knowing what Cov Cath was missing these 3 are easily the best 3 teams at this league.

I would expect both teams to have all of their players there tonight since the rain should cancel any baseball conflicts. The only other conflict would be freshman football conditioning.
