Final for the 8th Region All "A" Classic championship. The Lady Raiders trailed 42-33 heading into the 4th quarter. Freshman Shelbe Black scored 18 points, including 10 in the 4th quarter. Her sister, Paige (SR), scored 16 and was awarded the tournament MVP award. Shelbe also made the All Tournament team, as did Jessie Dunlap and Kaylee Clifford for the Lady Raiders.

Congrats to the Lady Raiders and good luck in Frankfort. Is that correct, Walton only got one girl on the All Tournament Team?

No. They got more. We will get names. I know they had at least one more, likely two.

Allie Mills was the other WV All Tourney selection.

Walton: Allie Mills

FBD is faster than I am. I was going over pics.

In looking at some postgame photos of the awards ceremony, I added in #14 Allie Mills. Sorry for the omission.

But we're both faster than TB&G. What do you think this is, your birthday?

Congratulations to the Lady Raiders. Good luck at state. Great job by Coach Clinkenbeard, staff and girls, keep working hard and keep getting better!

I think that since I just emerged into my 4th decade that everyone should overlook my slowness!

WOW, Trimble Co. with a 24-7 4th quarter, what happened to the Bearcats in this quarter?

I can't tell you exactly. It wasn't foul trouble. Trimble would have two players foul out in the 4th, but only one of WV's players had 4 fouls.
