Congrats to Trimble, they played a good game and Carroll hurt themselves with mental mistakes. The debate over who started and didn't start isn't an issue. Carroll will learn from the mistakes they made and move on. Could have/ should have comment is a typical bandwagon fan!!! :ohbrother:

Looks like the Ludlow streak is over. Carroll was the better team.

Bracken will win sometime this season, but it won't be against Ludlow.

Another tough loss for Gallatin and a big win for Owen. Owen is going to surprise alot of teams this season.

I saw Ludlow and Caroll both play and they are two good teams, but I do think that Carroll being at home will go 3-0. The game will be physical and will end up to be a low scoring game.

Leadership, a strong finish at the end of the schedule and an injury free year will be at the top of the list this year for the Panthers. Coach Weedman has good numbers coming out again and has the program heading in the right direction. The Panthers return some solid players and will hope to improve on last years record. Carroll County will miss Welch and Rose, but that is high school football. You have to fill those spots and I think Carroll County will. They have some players coming up and the seniors will have to step up and take a leadership role and teach some of the others how to win.

Carroll is to young still. They don't have a go to guy to do their scoring when they need it. Their time will come. They just need to keep playing hard and working as a team. No point prediction, but Gallatin should win.

Sorry I was late ot the yellow jacket program. The yellow jacket program works fine. I agree that 7/8 should play at the middle school, but there is too much coach turnover at the middle school and the asst that they hire are not the best. Kids play for the YJ because of the stability of the coaches and that they know that they will be there year in and year out. If you knew anything about the YJ program then you would see how many kids that have went to the high school program and have returned to help the younger kids at practice. The middle school program is needs to get a coach in there that is going to stay and hire some asst that will make a difference. The kids need a coach who will be there for them not for just one season then leave. It is hard to build a winning tradition when you don't know who the coach is going to be year in and year out.
