NKYBOY, Do you think Beechwood honestly chooses to play all those schools twice? They won all their conference games by an average of 22 points this season. If you've noticed all their games outside the conference are usually against Division 1 schools. Coach Shumate makes their schedule as tough as it possibly can be. If it was completely up to him, he wouldn't play any Division 3 schools. Also, I haven't heard complaints from one Beechwood fan. Where are you getting your information, and what do you have against this program?

Beechwood has been cheated out of awards two straight years now. No offense to Flanagan or any others, they are all good players, but I just feel that with the way they dominated the conferance they should have gotten most of these awards.

Smith had 6, but Smith isn't known for his scoring he is a defensive guy. Stauffer's points came mainly off free throws and Smith was in foul trouble all night. Overall I would say that Ryle has the big men to control a game and they had a nice win over a Beechwood team that was ranked higher than them:eek:.

Ryle played man to man, but had a man in help side for Romes's drive. The big guys for Ryle did a great job or altering his shots. Romes is a very good player, he just had a bad game.

If Newport plays the way they are capable, they win in a close one.

Holmes by at least 10. They are way too talented and athletic for Highlands. Rico will have a solid night and Elijah will get his 20 and a dunk.:ylsuper:

I believe you lost some credibility with this comment. Rico is the best player in the region and he only had 9 points on Romes if I recall correctly. How is that having his way with him? I believe Kowolonek was held to under ten points also. I usually agree with you Eta, but I just don't see where you're coming from on this one.

Beechwood hasn't even begun to peak...they will on friday. They are playing like they have nothing to lose, which is dangerous to any other team they face.
