10th Region Tournament Schedule is Set
Never been a regional JV tourney in the 10th to the best of my knowledge, but the freshmen do play a regional tourney culminating in an overall champion.

All "A" Talking Point - School Sizes
It's the smallest 125 in grades 10-12, and yes if a school elects out, they move up the ladder until the 125 number is established. The high end of the scale does move in & out occasionally. "A" football has nothing to do with this, as there's only 32 class A football schools. This is a tourney made up of 16 regional qualifiers, meeting to decide a champion; not a football tourney of 32 teams to determine a KSHAA Class A state championship.

ALL "A" State Tournament--Who wins??
Owen County vs. Buckhorn (#8 vs. #7) would seem to be a close one as well.

ALL "A" State Tournament--Who wins??
Couple of interesting first round games I see right away are Bardstown vs. Lexington Christian (#2 vs. #5 in Litkenhaus), and Holy Cross vs. Barbourville (#1 vs. # 6). Bardstown/LCA winner likely gets #4 Glasgow in the 2nd round, with the winner of that game heavily favored to make the finals. Bottom of the top bracket and the top of the lower are loaded if Litkenhaus is to be believed.

Rank the Coaches - NKY Edition
You obviously never watched the Silver Grove teams of the mid-2000's, up until Corey Pelle left. Calvary, Villa and many of the D-3 schools had some really good teams then. To say they couldn't compete with the girls' teams, even now is an insult. The Grove had several players in that timeframe that could play for ANYBODY in NKY.

Rank the Coaches - NKY Edition
Surprised with all this thoughtful analysis, you didn't include Coach Carr from Scott or Coach Code from Brossart. Both seem to overachieve every year, and have been more than competitive with the top teams in both NKY, the 10th region & the state--No love for the 10th region NKY's?? Personally think McQuery is a tad overrated on here, as he's had a ton of talent come through one of the largest schools in the area, without the big time results. Also agree with Sullivan and the future at Cooper. Another fan of Goetz at Holy Cross, although it's hard to argue the monster transfer hasn't helped this year.

Why is the All A Classic a week earlier this year?
They got together and rescheduled to avoid the annual national TV conflict. Obviously the Super Bowl deferred to the larger attraction?

All A’ Classic basketball draw
I'd throw in Covington Holy Cross as not only one of the favorites, but maybe THE favorite. Need to get by NCC in the 9th, but I like their chances.

You're correct--It is a thankless and very difficult job; and I'm another who appreciates you & your counterparts' efforts. On a similar note, try keeping stats (individual scoring & type of shot, FT attempts & makes, fouls, game notes for a full game report afterwards, lead changes & running score totals, TO's for each team) the old fashioned way--By Hand; all while operating a computer and announcing a basketball game like Mustang does--Simply amazing!! :notworthy:

Campbell County 58 Bishop Brossart 54 (OT)
Good video--Did Brossart even score?? Impressive performance by CC.

And LOUD!! Great game, and everyone got their $6.00 worth--LOL. Congrats to the Camels on a hard fought win. 3 pointers killed the Mustangs--Unofficially I heard 2-22--Ugh!

Beechwood / Covington Catholic Predictions
He's got to avoid the aggressive, but sometimes not smart fouls.

Beechwood / Covington Catholic Predictions
Agree Clyde. Not seen CCH yet this year, but have seen BW and they are very quick with Nussbaum, Vocke, and a couple others, play hard and I too like Cruse's game. From what I've read of CC, they & BW match up pretty well, but BW will have to stay out of foul trouble and play smart to stay close. If so, they can give them a better than anticipated game; if not 15-25 CC win.

Flagrant Fouls from HS game Washington state.
Fat kid #34 is just an uncoordinated goon playing the wrong sport. Good officials would have had him out long before the latter "flagrant" fouls. Weak coaching and officiating IMO.

Always at the middle school--Neither CC or BB gyms can handle the crowd. Actually, normally the MS gym normally can't either. Should be a good one.

Holy Cross 79 Bowling Green 74 OT
Pretty sure this kid has grown 6-7 inches in the last year, and was a lifetime guard; thus the decent handles and long range shot. If so, and having a kid that had a similar growth spurt; those kids spend a year or so "finding their feet", but once the rest of their body catches up, they're fine and their speed & fluidity come back. Young man has a ton of upside!!

Congrats to HC on winning this event!! They're going to be tough this year--The big boy is a stud.

More ace reporting by the Enquirer, who I'm not sure was even aware of this tournament?? Maybe the NCC PR department sent in the article?

Was this the Championship game on the Lloyd Tourney? I think that's what I read in the Enquirer?
