A couple of new bands Crooked X - Gone, Rock and Roll Dream, Time is Now The Sword - Any song Chickenfoot - all their songs rock! Saliva - Hunt you Down, and many others from them. And try the WWE CD's, actually good music on these- very rockin and most people will know them!

The long trip is the reason they are playing the late game w/ SW. They are trying to give them time to get here from school that day.

Guess his career would be over, same as it would be if he were not held back. Holding back is common practice at many schools.

What hurts even worse, in this situation, is SW was going to have a very good nucleus in football & basketball. The "split" will hurt both. Who will run reps at QB for SW now? I know Epperson & Marlow were both QBs. does SW have a spring game?

I know they are losing a lot from last year's team. They were very competitive in the district, just couldn't get the big win when they needed it. I don't know for sure what they have comoing up, but the hire will have to be quick.Spring ball is already here. Hopefully they have someone in place to at least run off-season workouts.

I saw Danville vs Mercer play early Sat. morning. It was probably the 1st game for each. Great game! It was back & forth, with each team getting leads of around 5-8 points, before Mercer pulled it out. Can't remember the score but it was around 5 points or so.

The helmet has gone thru a couple of transformations over the last 5 years or so. They used to have a pirate flag logo, then went to PULASKI on the side, now it's the # on the side of the helmet. It's been that way for about 2 years now. Yes the # is on both sides of the helmet. Thanks alot.

RB/S Winston Hines sgned with Georgetown. Congrats to this young man. Projected to play S for the Tigers.

Both sides of the ball start & end up front for Pulaski. The Maroons MUST get more physical up front. With the linemen they get back from injury to go along with the others getting bigger & stronger, PC could be dangerous this year. They are completely loaded at skill positions, just need to get the front line shored up.

Maroons lose 6 total players from 2008, only 3 starters. They should be pretty good in 2009.

Improve at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. And I think they will, alot of good young linemen waiting to get in there and prove themselves. It should be a better team than the 08 squad.PC will have a good mix of vets and pups to make a strong run.

I know the all of these will be answered, But I had heard this before and heard it again today, former East Jesimine and Dunbar coach, Coach Hensley has been interested. Does anyone know if he was even interviewed?

I don't have the exact number, but PC missed a TON of FTs in this game. Wayne hit just about all their FTs. Wayne is a very good FT shooting team. They were fundamentally sound as well. These 2 play again later this year, I think. It should be a great matchup. It was fun watching them play each other again. It's a fun rivalry to watch.

The low score is simply shocking to me!! Listening to the 1st quarter on the radio, it sounded like these 2 were going to put up 100 each. Was it good defense or bad shooting? Anyone have more details?

More numbers mean more time learning a specific position. More bodies in practice more opportunities to practice with a particular squad. This increase in practice time will equate a better product on the field. And winning equates to more boys wanting to be a part. Look at how qucikly Lexington Catholic grew in a relatively short period of time in terms of schools. It only takes being successful a little bit to pique peoples interests. T and X provide that interest by being successful. Give them 2 seasons of 2-8 or 3-7 and see how there numbers would fall - butthat will not happen anytime soon ( the 2-8 thing). Talking about expansion, I was amazed at my one and only visit to Trinity. It is a very impressive place. The first room a brought into was the trophy room -wow. It is easy to seewhy a young man who may thinking of attending would want to go there after seeing that. I was ready to enroll! What I am going is this, Triniity - and I am sure that X does too- has an amazing Alumni Program - and not just for former athletes. I am sure that this brings in a lot of money ( or has in the past). Those kinds for numbers are hard to compete with! $$$$$$$$$$$$

I thin that the involvement of their alumni programs are a big boost. It is head and shoulders better than any one public school's program. With backing like this, it is hard not to be successful.

McCreary was lights out last night. They swarmed on defense & had there way on offense. In Pulaski's defense, this team has only had 2 weeks of practice together. Chris Muse, Alex Abner, Winston Hines, Austin Tarter, & Zack Eastham all were playing football up until then. It's going to take some time to get this team playing together. As for MC, everone talks about how great Watts is(best in the Region by a lot, in my opinion), but the Raiders have another kid that really impressed me last night in Jacob Dixon. That kid can flat out go. He can hit the 3, drive to the bucket, & can jump out of the gym. I still believe the Maroons will be very good this year, it's just going to take some time. On a side note... I have to say it was a very lively & respectful crowd last night. The student section from MC, although they were sitting on the PC side, were fun to watch. It's refreshing to see the students allowed to actually have FUN during a basketball game. Good luck to MC this year.

I would also like to throw Alex Abner into the mix. He will be the PC workhorse next year. He showed that he can carry the load this year. Good hard runner with elusive speed. Also the Jackson kid from Somerset should put up nice numbers next year. Good hard runner, won't dodge anyone or step out of bounds.

Alex Abner- RB/ S Pulaski County(pick your poison) Very dangerous anytime he touched the ball, whether on offense, defense, or special teams. Had TDs rushing, receiving, kickoff, & Int returns. Can lay a hit on defense too. Outstanding all around player. Derek Jackson- RB Somerset (Fast & Strong) Can run around, over, or through you... doesn't matter to him. May be the best of some good young players @ SHS. Zack Fowler-LB Southwestern (Defensive Beast) Could be one the all-time greats at SW by the time it's all said & done. That's saying a lot considering the talent that has come out of that school.

I would have to put Chris Muse in the mix.

Looks like Whitley is going to be without their FB players for at least one more week. By the way, that hurt!:cry::cry::cry:
