Any updates from the JV tournament in Nicholasville?

Rule 13.

Mercer Co. won in 2 OT vs. West Jessamine by 3. They defeated Garrard Co., Danville, Southwestern in the first 3 rounds on Saturday. The Titans finished the JV season with a record of 20-0.

Congratulations to Mercer County. The future looks bright!

They have a great JV team. I heard they have only lost 6 or 7 games since the 6th grade. Mercer will be very tough for the next 2 years indeed.

Was Lincoln in this tourney? Boyle? Danville?

Boyle and Danville where there and Lincoln was on the bracket that was emailed to me. To the best of my knowledge, most of the 12th region brought a jv team. I wasn't there so I can't verify it, but the brackets that were sent to the parents here at Boyle County had everyone except for Wayne County and Monticello committed to playing.

If so, who did they play next?

I saw Danville vs Mercer play early Sat. morning. It was probably the 1st game for each. Great game! It was back & forth, with each team getting leads of around 5-8 points, before Mercer pulled it out. Can't remember the score but it was around 5 points or so.

They didn't win the tournament so they had to have lost somewhere along the line!:walk:

I gathered that... Just wanted to see who put them out and if they manged to win a game or two.

 

How did Garrard do?

Boyle lost to Southwestern in their first game. I don't know how Garrard did, I am not at home so I don't have access to the bracket to tell you who Garrard played.

My understanding they got killed by Mercer. 60 something 20 something. Sorry but I didn't remember the exact score BUT I do remember it was worth forgetting!!!
