Not all the parents at South are at fault. But for a long time a few parents not happy with the any coach they have had have always been very vocal and negative. This has been going on before Coach Holbrook was hired that's why no coach has stayed more than 3 or 4 years.

It was a physical game. Both teams started off red hot from three, but Casey cooled off considerably as the game went on. They had no answer for Jenkins and Bales down low for PC either. Not to say Pulaski will win the region, but they could make some noise playing on their home floor. Good Luck to the Maroons!

The communication problem was the parents wanted things their way and the coaching staff wouldn't listen.

I'm not sure of the totals, but last count was 52 total fouls between the 2 teams. I know PC shot it well from the line. PC lead wire to wire. This one was never in doubt.

FINAL! Pulaski wins the district at Casey. HUGE game for Tyler Jenkins. PC's big man ended the night with 33 for the Maroons. If memory serves, that is 4 of the last 5 district tournament championships for Pulaski County.

Colonel Mike don't drink the cool aid. The parents involved in creating the survey are trying to say they did this to help and didn't want the coaching staff to leave are just saying that so they don't look bad.

Colonel Mike you are wrong about the survey it was not done by the parents and the coaching staff to fix communication problems. It was done by a group of disgruntled parents for the sole purpose to get the coaching staff fired or to get Coach Holbrook to resign.

47th was way down this year! 3 of the 4 teams in it are "football" schools though. I am sooo ready for spring football. Just need some warmer weather.

Pulaski makes it 3 in a row over SHS and moves on to the 47th District Final on Friday. The Freshmen played outstanding tonight. Kody Johnson led the Maroons with 17 points, Taylor Gover had 16.

It was a great little gym. Locker rooms were in the basement which made it kind of spooky for the young kids. I think they are storing farm equipment in there now. It's a shame they couldn't keep it open as a community center.

Exactly, he said "they ran the plate". He didn't say "the off-duty state trooper who was at practice called in the plate". Do not ASSUME! 1st and Goal was there, along with around 50-60 other parents, coaches, school staff, and media.

Bottom line is, NL will not get to play PC unless they get much better and actually make the playoffs.

A state trooper, for God's sake, saw the person with the camera. So, PLEASE do not deny it happening. The administration said "noone connected with the school was involved". It was coach Larkey's car.No matter who was in the car, someone DID tape the Pulaski practice. It made no difference in the game, but let's not act like it's all a made-up story. I was looking forward to another great game between the 2 teams. Now we are just going to have to wait and see if the Jags have enough to make the playoffs...Or would they send another check and save a trip?

To get out of a contract there must be a mutual agreement. At this point there is not. This situation is not over and the schedules are not finalized. As it stands N.L. will not be playing PC, they will be paying the money to buy out and forfeiting the game, not replacing the game. They will only be able to replace the game and buyout, if PC agrees to it. The ball is in PC's court. For those who say N.L. won fair and square. N.L.had film of PC practice, PC had no film. Not fair!

He is not only a great player on the field, but an outstanding person off it! Congratulations Robbie!

He played running back for the Freshmen team. He was big... 6'1" 220+ rather agressive. I think someone told me that played some on fridays on defense. I was curious if they were going to leave him in the backfield or if he was playing there just for the Freshmen.

Please read the rest of the posts Jericho, I had already mentioned Barren, so I beat you to that. And yes, you guys could make the claim that Rock should have won, very good game, very close game. But you guys don't see PC calling to get out of the contract, right? Exactly. And if you had continued to read my post you would have noticed that i had tried to put in perspective with my last post, so your post seems awfully atagonistic and out-of-line. I understand he is going to do what is best for his program, and not playing PC at their place IS probably best for his program. Now back to what this was about, is the big freshmen going to get playing time in the backfield this year? He looked like a load the times I saw him play in the Freshen games this past year. And who did they replace PC with on their schedule with this year? Who else are playing non-district?

I think is more that NL left us in a lurch, By the way, isn't a little rivalry good for the sport? Doesn't make it interesting? WHo did NL replace us with? I am curious?

Look, as a player (and their are several out there who post on here), after a loss like that one, it stings a bit. But you take hold your head up and say "see you next year" -especially when you KNOW you are going to play them next year (you have a contract). Then to have that taken away from you, well it just doesn't sit well with, as it should not sit well with anyone who has a competitive bone in their body. I that and a $1 will get you a cup of coffee. I know that this posting is not going to make Larkey change his mind in any way. Nor do I believe all you die hard Jaguar fans will admit ot that either. That is just the way I feel. Iwould feel the same way if it was Barren (we laid a bigger egg against them) who pulled out of their contract. How many people would be on here calling PC everything in the book if they had bought out the contract to Henry Clay - Our opponent for hte Don Marshall Bowl. I can hear them saying we were dodging a big opponent. Who did NL replace our game with? Does anyone know yet?

The best interest for all involved would be for NL to show its players to HONOR commitments! Now you are teaching those players that if you don't agree with what you have committed to just turn your back on it and buy your way out. Maybe they will be good enough to make the playoffs and have to make the trip anyway. No buying your way out of a playoff game, if you make it.

Then don't renew, but you honor your contract, especially when it is your turn to go on the road. I am sorry that he didn't sign this contract, but he was willing to play it last year. And it is just stealing the PC boys a chance to avenge a loss they (and Jags fan know) should have never happened. I guess it is good call for NL, but not for PC. I do understand that this purely from a Maroon perspective, but it is a point-of-view that needs to be acknowledge.

Why on earth would they do that?! They are very familiar with PC. It's a short drive and would be a good game. I would figure after the win last season they would be chomping at the bit to play the Maroons.
