What does Somerset need to do to improve in 2009? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Does anybody have a run down on the non-district games next year? I have heard maybe Danville is back on the schedule and maybe Estill Co and Knox Co as well.

 

We return all but one starter on offense from the playoff game, I think, and 7 or 8 starters from the D.

 

Jumpers need to...

#1 stay healthy (injuries on the line really hurt, at the end of the year, Phelps was really missed at the end of the year)

#2 tackle better (tackle and wrap up low and quit hitting high)

#3 Replace QB that graduated (Either QB is capable of 2,000+ yds)

#4 Play to their potential (being young is no longer relevant)

 

Jumpers have the parts in place to have a really really special year.

I think they open up in Ray Correll Bowl against Pulaski County. That should be an interesting match-up.

Actually I think they both have another game in week "0" the week before the RCB. I do think this will be a really good game, I just hope it is over sooner than the last time they played. 3:00 am is kinda late to end up a game.

I haven't heard that but that doesn't mean it isn't being considered. I assumed the quarterback would be Erik Manning, Taylor Sears, Alex Lange or Tyler Megargel.
