$9 and $10 is awfully high for playoff games. I can understand the prices for the state championship game, but not for playoff games. I know in Northern Kentucky, when I was coaching, we charged $6 for adults and $4 for students. There was a 50/50 split for the two teams involved.

This would definitely be a blow to Bellevue. I saw Hatter kick off at the Bellevue/Dayton game and was impressed with the height and distances of the kicks. Hopefully, Mr. Hatter will have a full and speedy recovery.

Even though I think Trinity's JV and Frosh squad will get significant playing time in this game, I wish this game was being played at SK, so I could get the chance to watch this historic football team play. Unfortunately, this is a problem that has a large impact on the teams of small schools. I know it happens everywhere, but when you only have 40 players to begin with, it takes a real toll. I just think Dayton is going to struggle for quite some time in football and it has nothing to do with Montgomery. I know that their youth program is struggling to the point where I have heard it may not be in existence too much longer. Plus, having bad seasons over the last couple or three years, it's hard to recruit kids for the team. I just think, Montgomery needs to find some quality parents that would be willing to take over the youth program and he will literally have to start building from the ground up.

I hope Carroll County comes out and can dominate again up front and this time pull off the victory.

So what happens if we go back to the top two teams making the playoffs and there are blowouts. Then, do we go to just the #1 team making it. I remember in my high school days we were the #4 seed from Northern Kentucky and had to play Raceland the #1 seed and we beat them. So, I don't mind the current playoff set-up.

I'm pretty sure the cop and the fan are from Mayfield and are planning on kidnapping him until the 2nd weekend in December.

Despite, having probably the worst record ever for a #1 seed (I don't think the record is a good reflection of this team), I am going with the Camels in this one. Good luck Camels and Coach Lickert.

I personally can't wait to see Bracken Co. play. As a former player and retired coach it's always nice to hear of a team that hasn't been very good, getting things on the right track and turning around their program. Win or lose, this week, I would say that this season is still a success for the Polar Bears and Coach Siple. Definitely a building block for the future!

The stadium was very out dated. I remember the one locker room looked like it was out of the 1940s. The fans were very rude and less than welcoming. However, the field itself was in pretty good shape. I just think they need to make some major upgrades and changes to the stadium. I also remember a couple of years ago, hearing that the Frankfort press box staff was making it extremely difficult for Bellevue coaches to get on top of the pressbox and for them to come down.

I think Eminence will squeak this one out. But good luck to the Panthers!

I'll go with Frankfot by 3 TD's. However, I would like to see Dayton win this game therefore no other team has to travel to Frankfort's field (one of the worst I have ever been to).

When a school wins the mythical national championship, do they actually receive any type of trophy, banner, ring, etc? Just curious because I have no idea how that works.

Congratulations to the players and coaches at Trinity. I haven't seen them play this year, but what a great accomplishment.

Bellevue will pull this one out. I think this will be a closer game than any Bellevue/Bracken in the past, but I think that the Tigers playoff experience will help them in this one. Bellevue 24 Bracken 16

I'm sure 6-4 isn't the season the Tigers had wanted, but I am sure they will take it. It very easily could have been a 7-3 season (with a few things going their way in the Carroll Co. game). Good job this season to both the Juggs and Tigers.

I'm tired of seeing Beechwood and Mayfield win the 1A state title. So I will be rooting for every 1A team from #3 on down!!
