Yes, maybe lost more. Dayton had ten penalties for 95 yrds and four of them personal fouls.

I counted four of them all by same player. However that #22 is a workhorse. Yeah there were 4 personal fouls, but two of them were a joke. The other two were legitimate though.

I think number 23 lost one as well. IMO Dayton wins this game if not for the turnovers. I know its part of the game but I would love to see these two teams play again.

Ugly ugly football, I think I will pass gas on the next one. Only bright spot in this game to mention.....Kaylynn Dill's 27 yard field goal right before the half. It would have been good from 35 to 40, she has a strong leg. Zero passing games for both teams. Both teams have their work cut out for them, especially Dayton.

Maybe if Dayton went with Kevin Siple they would be winning. Bracken has 5-6 wins. I really thought that Dayton could go 5-5 this year. They had oppurtunity to do it too. Except they lost to Bracken 22-20, Ludlow 21-14, Bellevue 17-6. Close games I felt Dayton should have won. I thought Montgomery was the guy for the job when he was hired, but maybe not. I'm not saying it's been terrible this year. You can actually go to the game and watch it unlike the last three years, but I think Dayton's record should be better.

I know it's aggravating, but I think things will get better. Montgomery came in to a trainwreck this season and I think that many know it. When things go as far downhill as they did, there's not going to be any quick fix. I figured it was going to be a work in progress, and this season has been very indicative of that.

Congrats to the Tigers on this one but I do have to ask, Is Bellevue gotten worse as the year has gone on? The reason for this is they handled a very solid Walton team at the beginning of the year and it just seems they have not been the same team..

To be questioning Chad Montgomery is joke! I mean come on he came into a bad situation and hes working hard and this team is light years ahead of last years! For a team like Dayton to lose three or four starters for alot of games and to still play tough says alot about Chad. He started study hall and its not always about wins or loses these kids are learning life leasons and I can say his first year coaching at Dayton he helped me alot with what college to attend and what to expect!

^ I agree with you JW. It is great to hear about the things Montgomery is doing beyond the football field. I can only speak to what I have seen on the field and Dayton is much, much improved this year. Montgomery has things going in the right direction. Losing to the rival is always tough but if I were a Dayton fan, I would still like what I am seeing in Dayton and have optimism about the coming years under Montgomery.
