Agree or Disagree?

In my opinion, 1-3 are the only title contenders and they all have to play each other before the state championship. Thus, the state title should be given in the semis........not really but you get my point. I don't think anyone that make it to state to play one of these 3 stands much of a chance. I could be proven wrong, but I won't be convinced until it happens

With Bw's injuries, I think the Cards are the obvious #1 at this point. Bw may prove the wildcat or some other offense works but for now I think Mayfield is obvious #1

I would not rule Hazard out of it at all. They always have a solid team and some very good talent.

I'm tired of seeing Beechwood and Mayfield win the 1A state title. So I will be rooting for every 1A team from #3 on down!!

We will all know alot more after tonight, Bw will have the chance to find out where they stand with all their injuries. Rain here is comming to a end this morning, I assume it will be ending up there around game time or will still be raining. What is the forcast for gametime in NKY?

I think what he is saying is Mayfield / Beechwood are always mentioned or are playing in the state title game. I don't see this changing anytime soon. Mayfield is very close to being a 2A school and if some of those Graves County kids start comming in I can see them moving up. For the foreseeable future I believe Mayfield is in the drivers seat.

I have no doubt the BGP'ers and others are getting tired of the Mayfield/Beechwood talk. You are probably like me and would welcome more competition in 1A. I would love to see there being 7 or 8 teams that were serious title contenders. That would make it more fun.

VOR I can tell you I am not tired of it. I look forward to the Beechwood talk. My guys are working hard to raise their level of play and we plan to knock of the Tigers in the near future. Our underclassmen are young and very talented.

At least teams know they most raise their level of play or they have a slim chance of competing for the title. Some teams just want to get mentioned being in the top 10 or top 5 and they have had a successfull season.

Coach ... I expected no less from you and your guys. You have a nice program that I respect a lot. I wish more programs in 1A were like yours. Keep the guys working hard and keep building it. Good luck over the next few weeks and we look forward to seeing you in the near future.

Mayfield and 1 other school are tied for the largest in class A, Bw is the 3rd largest 1A school and I think it was only 2 kids behind Mayfield so both might get to play AA ball in the future
