Should be a similar result to the 2008 game; hopefully not, but no reason to think any different as of now.

I'll go with Frankfot by 3 TD's. However, I would like to see Dayton win this game therefore no other team has to travel to Frankfort's field (one of the worst I have ever been to).

Prior to last season I would have to agree. However, last season it was quite evident that the good folks at Frankfort were making a major effort to clean things up and improve the overall field and seating conditions.

 

If you haven't been there in the last two seasons, I'd reserve judgement.

I remember when I played down at Frankfort there were a lot of issues with their fans being less than welcoming to our fans as well as the field being full of holes and just not very well taken care of.

Field has been in good shape the last 10 years.

The stadium was very out dated. I remember the one locker room looked like it was out of the 1940s. The fans were very rude and less than welcoming. However, the field itself was in pretty good shape. I just think they need to make some major upgrades and changes to the stadium.

 

I also remember a couple of years ago, hearing that the Frankfort press box staff was making it extremely difficult for Bellevue coaches to get on top of the pressbox and for them to come down.

Last time I was at Frankfort, the visitors stands were so small the visiting school had those plus some on the home side. Not to mention the stands looked as though they could cave in at any point. I would not say this is one of the worst I have ever, but it is not very nice. Just needs a little updating, way less than Dayton's does.

I hate to hear the fans were nasty. There is no excuse for that. Also I hope any team that travels that has issues with anyone in the press box to let the coaching staff know. Those folks in the press box are just volunteers who think they have ownership. Coaches can get that fixed.

 

As for the stadium it is out dated. I actually think it has a lot of character. They are making renovations each year. Two years ago the press box was expanded. This past offseason the concession stand was re-done and now is a full service.

 

Goal next year is to address the locker rooms. The field is always work in progress.
