Nice 1st round game. I believe Boyle wins but I think it is a really good game.

Could be close, but I'll be surprised if it is. I think the Rebels will be ready and think they win by 20 or more.

Knox has the players that can go toe to toe with Boyle, maybe even better at some spots.. I think they pull the upset..

If I weren't such a homer I would have to pick Boyle also but I believe it will be close. Those who think Boyle will win by a large margin I'm interested in knowing what you base your opinion on.

This could be one of the Better 1st round games. I think Boyle wins but not without a struggle. 21-14

I think home field will be an advantage but I also think KC is a hard team to prepare for. If one scouted the Rockcastle game, one would prepare a spread offense with 5 good receivers. Scout the Russell game and one sees an I backfield and a more balanced attack. Scout the Madison Central game and one sees a team that runs the power I and slugs it out. Different looks from a team that has the athletes to pull it off.

No doubt tradition lies with Boyle with KC being a relative newbie albeit with two regional finals in the past 4 seasons.

I respect the homer pick and I am not mad at you for that. I would pick the Rebels against the Packers at Green Bay.:D

For me it's just a gut feeling. I feel like our offense has finally closed the gap on the defense as far as performance. Earlier this year I felt like we would have to depend on our defense to win games. Even the LexCath game I still felt like our offense wasn't up to par with the last 2-3 years offense. Now we are doing things I am accustomed to seeing us doing on offense. Our quarterback is playing with much more confidence and the vibe on offense seems to be a lot better at this point. Our defense continues to get better every game and scoring on that defense will be a challenge for most teams.

Another thing is that one thing the teams that have beaten us have in common is overall team speed. All three of our losses came to teams that were either faster than us at multiple positions or even with us at multiple positions. Big, physical teams don't worry me. Fast teams do.

I really like the vibe around the football team right now.

So you're baseing your prediction on Boyle's performance rather than what you know of KC. I can understand that. I'm pretty much doing the same thing.
