We're here, lurking around and not too far away. Guess, for me, there is not much to say. I know nothing about Knox, other than they are from Barbourville, where they have the 12 days of Christmas lights displayed on the drive through town.

I wish I had an answer but I don't. For whatever reason there doesn't seem to be nearly as many of us as there used to be. I think some of it has to do with how to properly discuss this year's team without starting fights amongst one another. I think Boyle fans didn't want to openly share their thoughts and opinions on why this year's team didn't appear to be as good as year's past. I know Super is off of BGP altogether. I am unsure if charlesw88 is still on here. I know there are plenty of readers and not posters. I know I have been lonely this year and dying to have a civilized conversation about this year's team. Had I been afforded the luxury of that conversation then you would be able to track my vibe to where it is now. I don't want to say people have jumped off of the bandwagon but the attendance at last Friday's game was disgraceful. On Senior Night as well. What else is sad is that we are playing our best football but people think we aren't a state finals achieving type of team and have pretty much quit coming out. Sad. We started off the year a good team. We are getting closer to a great team every day. Hopefully the fans jump back on the bandwagon now. The players are going to need their support.

So you're baseing your prediction on Boyle's performance rather than what you know of KC. I can understand that. I'm pretty much doing the same thing.

 

Pretty much. I am seeing things done the 'Boyle County way' that I hadn't seen done earlier this year, even against teams we were clearly better than. Those close to the team knew this team was going to have to put in a lot of hard work to reach the level of play we are used to seeing and from my vantage point it looks like that hard work is paying off and showing up at the right time. I am very proud of our coaches. Very proud.

Did Madison Central have injuries and/or rest players for the Knox Central game? Not really surprised that Knox Central won, but was surprised that they shut them out. What kind of special teams play does Knox Central have? How good is punter, kicker, return game?

To be honest, I just have been a little more swamped than normal this season so I've had less chance to get on here. And like you, there hasn't been a lot of conversation in the threads since the HHS game.

 

I think the team can make a game with anyone right now. The key will be if the new advances on offense are strides by the players or the easy stretch of the season.

 

My hope is a rematch run. I hope the Rebs can get by Knox Central and in all liklihood Rockastle.

 

Then my hope is for a rematch with the Knights. I like our chances there and win or lose it will have been a great season.

 

If we could somehow then advance to the semi-finals and play HHS, that would be an outstanding year.

 

I said after the Game 1 loss to the Birds that it would be nice to play them again. Not that we can necessarily beat them but to get that far would be a semi-final berth for the fourth straight year and our 10th in 13 years.

 

All you can do is ask to be on the field vs. the best and my hope is that this is step one towards doing just that. :thumb:

I pick Boyle to win by 3 TD's. That doesn't mean that it will be easy. This will

be more like a play off game should be. I know Boyle has a lot of respect for Knox

and will not overlook them.For the first time in a long time, I am looking forward

to a first round game.

I agree. I fully expect us to beat Highlands or CovCath the day after Thanksgiving and then beat whoever the west has to offer in Bowling Green. Again.
