I was down there watching my beloved Tigers practice today (underneath 471 to stay dry of course) and I'll tell you Roger Babb was on fire today, he has never looked better. Let's just say I hope dayton knows how to defend a Bill Walsh style offense.:ylsuper:

This will definitely be a different game than it was the first time these teams met. I like Bellevue's chances in this one...it's harder to beat a team twice! Bellevue 27 Dayton 8

By the score, looks like this was another classic NCC and Beechwood game.

It was a great high school football, one of the best that I have seen in awhile. I am sure the Dayton faithful will say that this happened due to some injuries and sickness, but the reality is Carroll Co played one heck of a game. Coach Weedman did an excellent job teo prepare for this game and in getting his kids focused and ready for this game. Welch and Rose both ran the ball very hard and Dayton had no answer for them for most of the night. Welch's last run for the game winning TD, was a great run and he broke about 6 tackles and never gave up on the run. Congrats Coach Weedman and Carroll Co. This lose for Dayton could make next week's game that much more interesting for the Devils!

I think now is the point in the season when Ludlow has to realize that another win is just NOT in the cards and start to prepare for next season and on how they can improve on this season.

I have heard that Ludlow has started to prepare and work on things for next year, while still preparing for Lloyd and Beechwood. Is there any truth to that? Do they have any skilled underclassmen?

I really dont' think it will be by oodles, but they will win in a convincing fashion! I finally made it to the Varsity Level....put me in coach, I'm ready to play

With a lose to Scott this past week, I think Ludlow really limps into this game, especially with the fact that this season hasn't lived up to their expectations. I will take Lloyd in this one but I think it will be a nail biter.... Lloyd 16 Ludlow 14

No real surprise here, I just thought Dayton would have beat the Wildcats by more than they did. Dayton will finish up with an easy win over Carroll and will be in another battle with the Tigers

This game will be another classic battle between the two titans. I think this game will come down to who can establish their running game and keep the ball moving on the ground. Having seen both teams play, I think the defenses/special teams are pretty close to equal. I would have to give the upper hand to the Beechies on the running game. Teipel is one of the best runners I have seen in a long time. With that said, I am picking the Beechies to pull this one out.... Beechwood 24 NCC 20

I think Dayton wins this one and finishes the season with a great record of 9-1. I think Dayton will try to get up on Carroll early so that they can rest their starters, play the JV'ers, and start preparing for another battle with the Tigers!

I just think that Bellevue will be too physical and strong for the Gallatin Co. folks

This could be a very weird game. Both teams have had their share of struggles this year but have also had their moments of brilliance too. So, who knows exactly how this game will turn out. I will pick Holmes in this one. Holmes 23 Lloyd 20

I figured that it was a rumor...I know they have had a down year this year, but as usual, there is someone who is ready to write the coach off as soon as he has one down year or doesn't win state. I am glad to see him stay...it would be the best thing for the program.

I was impressed with how well Newport played last week despite the loss....I have heard though that there is a possiblity Coach Hyder won't be back next year? Do any of the Newport faithful know anything about that? Is it just a rumor (which is my guess)?

That's great news for Jarrett and Coach Borchers...Now I'll keep my fingers crossed that the Panthers can knock off the mighty Beechies that first week of the playoffs. Congrats to Jarrett and welcome back to the game! Good Luck the rest of the season and in to hoops season.

This was the expected outcome....no surprise here! I wonder if all members of Dayton's coaching staff think that this is running up the score! :confused:

I would not jump all over you if it was true. If both teams play a good hard fought game then I will always give credit to both teams, regardless of who they are or who associates with tha team.

This was a good game by all the Tigers involved. Bellevue did a great job to show that they are capable of hanging in with the Beechies (minus the excessive turnovers). It was great to see the Tigers play hard and to see them never give up, this is a credit to the Bellevue kids and the kind of program Eckstein is running down there. It ddi just come down to the fact that Beechwood is a little too much for the Black and Gold's last night. That Teipel kid is a great player. Is he getting looked at? Elliot is a great QB as well. I even heard Coach Rash say as he was leaving the game "I thought we would be able to roll these guys, but they definitely earned our respect". Again good game by all and good luck to all as their seasons continue.
