Ludlow QB Jarrett Rouse Will Play Again This Season Now

Featured Replies

I was informed yesterday that Rouse will now be able to play again this season. They have put a smaller cast on him I was told, and it will allow him to play. I know before he got hurt he was on pace to break alot of records at Ludlow this year, and was leading NKY in passing yards and passing TD's. So I know Ludlow will be very happy to have him back. I know news like this is just always great to hear, especially since it seemed like he would never get the chance to play football again...

So welcome back Jarrett and good luck against Scott next week!!! :thumb:

GO LUDLOW!!!

Are you saying he's going to play next week? That's great news for the Panthers and Jarrett!! Hate to see seniors injured, especially with the year he was having. Best of luck to him the rest of the way and stay healthy!! :thumb:

He has been cleared to try and play. Which was completely unexpected but they gave him the choice to try and play and he has chosen to do so. Of course it may cause further injury but the kid just wants to play football a few last times. Whether or not he can play quarterback is yet to be determined but im sure we'll see him somewhere on the field. :thumb:

Congrats to this young man. He is one heck of a player!

He does. I believe his favorite sport actually. Oddly enough i heard he was gonna sit out of football this year to prevent what has happened. But decided to play and now will finish it out, or try. and hope he lasts till basketball. If its still not healed he will then play basketball with a broken wrist. :thumb:

Call me dumb but i believe that will be extremely difficult to do at all, and extrememly extremely difficult to do and be affective on the court.... it may be nearly impossible...

You only use one arm to throw a football... You need two to shoot a basketball...

Former Ludlow quarterback chase king had the exact injury as jarrett does only alot worse off and he still played. Will it be tough? yes. Painful? Yes. Possible? Yes as well. :thumb:

Would it be wise for the Panthers, and their future, to play Rouse at a position other than QB?

This is great news!!!!!! I will be sure to mention it on the show this week!!!! Welcome back Jarrett!!!

Which hand (wrist?) did he break? Was it his throwing hand? If it is could he play QB?

Anyways, good to see him get back it was sad to hear what happened to him.

Jarrett had broken a bone in the left wrist (non throwing hand). He spent 4 weeks in an elbow to fingertip plaster cast. The new cast is a short fiberglass cast so thumb and fingers have almost complete range of motion. He still has to wear this cast up to basketball season and then it will be removed so he can play.

Awesome, hopefully he gets back into the grove of the game and maybe able to put up some of the numbers he did before.

This is great news!!!!!! I will be sure to mention it on the show this week!!!! Welcome back Jarrett!!!

When is your show buttels? I'd like to tune in sometimes. :thumb:

Great to hear. :ylsuper::ylsuper:
