  1. Let me guess, let me guess a BIG FAT CHAMPIONSHIP RING.
  2. I as a pure fan care. If not I would not have spent the money or loss of production time to attend the game. We looked forward to watching Rees and Grant play in an all star game. The Kentucky team could have, would have, and should have, been better if not for some very closed minded coaching.
  3. I was at the game he got three carries one for about 4 yards a second for about 3 yards and a third that went for about seven but was called back for a holding penalty. He did play on most kick offs but was never kicked to ( smart coaching for Tenn.) The play calling was awful:confused:. Having a kid like Rees that ran for 3000+ yards and he gets 3 touches come on. Maybe it had a lot to do with where you are from as to how much you got to play.:madman:
  4. Very nice win keep it up Rebs.:ylsuper:
  5. Say what you may we feel just the opposite. By the way the rings will be in soon.
  6. There should be lots of support there from the Rebel Nation with both Grant and Rees playing.
  7. Thats really really close 6'4" and 225-230. He turned 16 in October.
  8. Other than traffic after the Boyle / Lone Oak game BG was a great place to hold the championships. The city of Bowling Green should have had police directing traffic. Our game was an exception with the double overtime we were leaving just after 5pm. When you couple game traffic with regular friday 5pm traffic it was hectic. But my Rebels won so its all good. We look forward to attaening the championships at WKU for years to come.
  9. I do believe it's safe to say that the more exposure one gets it has to increase his chances. Recruiters learn lots from players when they play in huge High school games like the Boyle/ Lex. Cath or the Boyle/Bell or the Boyle/ Lone Oak game. The number of scholarshps offered or excepted has nothing to do with exposure.
  10. The new coach has connections to the college of the Cumberlands. One staff member will be a former Danville stand out who also played at The Cumberlands.
  11. Good post Rebel, who decides if a certain athlete played an important enough role to get a ring. To the Highlands folks that is one sharp ring. And if you can afford $2000.00 you absolutely buy them for those kids as they deserve it. Remember these rings and memories will be charished for life.
  12. Prayers from here in the Rebel nation.
  13. The Boyle/Lone Oak game was terrible both ways. I can understand a few missed calls but that crew missed lots of them. Both teams held on numerous plays. Lone Oak is a very good football team. But you will never convince me that they could hold out the Boyle defense like they did without holding. Hint to officals if the defense whomever it may be, is trying to put their jersey back on at the end of a play , they were probably held. Pulling outward at the back (neck hole) of the shoulder pads is a horse collar penalty. Right or wrong? Pulling downward from the same location is not a penalty. Right or Wrong? I'm well aware thet officiating is a very hard job and ALL calls will not be made. However you took the job. Surely no one would purposely make a call because a kid is wearing the wrong color jersey. Maybe the problem lies in training. How much professional training do officials have to have? Are they required to have additional training yearly? Can they be or are they nationally certified? Just wondering.
  14. The kiss that was seen around the state. No where in football will you find a classery family then the Frenches.:thumb:
  15. As a parent of a player the championship game was a rollercoaster. Everytime it seemed we were making a run either we commited a penality or Lone Oak would make a play. Many times throught the game i told the person beside me "were done". Boy did they teach this old man a lesson, never ever quit on a Rebel football team. What a football season. Hey Popcorn What About Them REBELS!!!!!!!!!!:notworthy:
  16. It took for ever to get from the stadium back to the interstate. Very nice facility.:thumb: The city of Bowling should have assisted with traffic control. :idunno:
  17. Lone Oak you have an outstanding football team. Continue to hold your head high as you are a very classy program.
  18. Thanks PP92 see you in BG tomorrow
  19. The problem with your argument is that the Mr. Football award is not an award based on a sumation of all of your years playing High School Football. The Mr. Football Award is an award that is (Supposed) to be based ONLY on the Senior Season, not the Junior Year, Sophomore Year, or even the Freshman Year. Facing this question, (regardless of injury, tough luck, or whatever happens) has the cadidate had the seasons or some of the others, such as MacShara, Hayden, or Simpson.
  20. You are wrong! Please tell the men and women that I work with ,that, they do not deserve more pay when they are preparing to enter an IDLH (immediate danger to life and health). They like many other professions in this great country do it to try and make a difference in one life.:ohbrother:
  21. From what I was told LO throws the ball everywhere. They kinda use the Hal Mumme aproach.
  22. WOW what a war between two warriors. Bell has a very very nice football team. I thought in the second half Boyles O line really took it to Bells defense. The game was absolutely all it was billed to be. Rees ran the ball with authority in the second half.
