Which schools are in the CH district?

How can he be eligible? The schools are in the same city just a few miles from one another. Will the KHSAA allow it?

I don’t know where OTE gets their funding but I know that they offer top players such as Kinney BIG $$$ to leave their high schools and play for OTE.

Coach Glaser had an easier 6A landscape. Other than Trinity being above them, the Tigers handled the rest of 6A without much issue. Male and Coach Wolfe were not yet where they are today. FD in Lexington did not exist. Bryan Station, Manual and Bullitt East are much better now than they were then.

I am in my late 60’s and get frustrated with folks living in the past. 1983….. really ? 41 years ago. Gas was 1.15 a gallon and Flashdance was the #1 hit movie. How about a little love for what Coach Hawkins and the present day Defenders are doing. Last year 6A state runner up and a legitimate threat to the Big 3 in Louisville and to F Douglass in Lexington.

Yikes. The Dragons will get roughed up. Big Boy 6A football is a different animal to what South is accustomed to.

My feeling is that final scores in scrimmages are not very meaningful. However, what happens during a scrimmage is very meaningful; Things like- If Team A is manhandled by Team B at the line of scrimmage. If Team C has no ability to stop the run or pass of Team D. If Team E tries to throw the ball a ton but their QBs have terrible accuracy. Those types of things are meaningful, even in a scrimmage.
