Mustang
The Mustangs found St. Patrick to be scrappy, causing us a few problems early on We finally began to knock down some high percentage shots, and saw Stephen Verst hit four three-pointers in the first-half and a total of five of them on the night. Verst was the only Mustang to have a good night from beyond the arc as the team totaled 6 of 24 on the night. The Mustangs led 31-19 at the half, 48-33 after three, and won the game 73-40. Carson Schirmer scored 22 on the night. The young man does incredible things with his body. Stephen Verst finished with 17 and Ethan Eilerman 14. St. Patrick had three players notch double-figures - Chase Watson 14, Donivan Bandaion and jaylan Rigdon 10 each. St. Patrick started a four sophomore and one freshman lineup. With the win, Coach Mike Code scores his 300th career varsity victory, joining the Top Twenty of Northern Kentucky Coaches in the all-time wins category.
