I will defer to All Tell for this....but I am hearing this year's line will be very effective.

 

I fully expect that the new o-line will gel as a unit so that by the time we start playing the KY portion of the schedule they will be very effective. No doubt they will face a trial by fire with the pre-KY schedule but as they say, what doesn't kill ye makes ye stronger.

I seem to recall hearing something about Trinity having a decent football program. Of course, everyone knows that at Trinity, the real sport of focus is bobsledding. :ylsuper:

I heard a rumor - don't know if true - that the Oregon Ducks are on James Quick's short list of where he may go to college (U of L is also on the list). Does this rumor have any legs?

WDRB aired an interview with James on Wednesday night. A couple of weeks ago Oregon was at the top of his list. He likes the spread. But OR is far away. He said that the Cards are now at top of the list. Who knows what next week will bring. Time will tell.......

Don't underestimate the value of the line play, either side. Even an inexperienced line will improve as the season progresses. Just how much experience did the line get last year? What about its size? Anyone know?
