The O-line at Trinity shouldn't be a problem, especially with 1500 boys to choose from. The way T blew everybody out last year , their underclassmen got tons of valueable playing time . If they don't run the table I will be surprised.

The team I support has a new O-line every year. They have about 400 boys in the school and a very, very good O-line coach. Every year the O-line is the big question until the 3rd or 4th game of the season, then we all relax and say we are going to be alright.

 

I would think that T is the same way. I don't know who the O-line coach is , but he must be good to be on their coaching staff. The O-line at T will gel over time and I expect the chemistry to be there after a few games. Some of the juniors have playing time together from last years team. The only thing I can say is, if your going to have a chance to beat Trinity, you need to play them early on the schedule. The Highlands and Trinity scrimmage should be very entertaining, if both teams are healthy.

Trinity will have no problem with O Line as their scheme doesn't need to over power anyone. A quick pass block or have Dawkins hide behind then squirt out.

This is 100% correct. How many in the pocket plays does Trinity run...very few. Same thing in the running game. Lineman usually make one hit and the play is 3 yards down field.

I seem to recall hearing something about Trinity having a decent football program. Of course, everyone knows that at Trinity, the real sport of focus is bobsledding. :ylsuper:

Have not heard any talk about the demise of the o-line, just that there are some large senior shoes to fill and it appears to be the only question mark, if you can even call it that. With the number of boys to draw from, the coaching staff, and the playing time last year's subs received I can't imagine it being a real concern. There's obviously nothing to talk about at the skill positions other than where they'll end up at the next level.

We all know about James Quick. But how will the rest of the receiving corp be compared to last year? Hearing that Reggie Bonofan will play WR this year.
