Ahem....the best team didn't win. I have no concern about that. It was a great game between two great teams. I hope we play them again. That said, I also hope this crew gets some form of reprimand, its a tragedy that they got paid for their "work" last night.

You gave the game away when Hicks missed 2 free throws with 5 seconds left.

We failed to close the game on the missed ft's. Big difference. Game should've gone to OT, where we could have lost fair and square.

I have no dog in this fight, I could care less who wins. Bottom line, if Trinity makes the free throws or just backs up whie he is shooting them with 5 seconds left, game is over. That is why you don't see playes at the free throw line in closing seconds. Central would have taken 3-4 seconds at minimum to score T doesn't have to throw ball in bounds, I think, Central calls TO (if any left). T throws ball deep down court game over. Poor handling of end of game situation to me. The officials make no difference then. IF you leave the game in the hands of officials, their judgment will always tick one side off. I can see all sides of the calls. If I were T I'd be ticked, IF MC fan I'd say foul is foul no matter when called. IMO it was a foul.

This loss should make Trinity even better, IMO. Could be a blessing in disguise.

Absolutely. Especially after beating Trinity. Nice big bullseye on their backs now.

The foul on the FT rebound WAS a foul people. The last play was a foul but I doubt I call it. I let it play out as it would have been a tough play to make. I think because Deudionne didnt attempt to jump and go for the ball was why he called it. Trying to hold the the player down on a lob pass is clearly a foul whether you are sealing him with your body or holding him with your hands.
