Reading this thread, for me, is like watching an episode of Hoarders. I feel much better about my life now.

 I will say...I don't consider myself "peculiar". I'm UNIQUE! :D

We actually have a few in common. Regarding memorization of important numbers, I typically use something UK basketball related. Last four of my daughter's social was remembered based on championship years for UK.

I order books by author, then genre, then release date.

Also the e-mail inbox. Can't stand to have anything in there. Get rid of them ASAP.

And I can't believe I forgot about the money. I have to have it the same way as you.

I do the same money thing as Rockmom. I'll get change in bills at Walmart and I won't leave that spot and grab my bags until my bills are in an orderly fashion.

I bite my nails also. So does my youngest son.

Wow, you guys are whacked. I've also never seen StarWars. Talking robots never appealed to me. I don't care what I sleep in, where I sleep, what side of the bed, what position I start in, I fall asleep in .5 seconds. Don't wake up for 7 hours minimum unless I have to pee. I suppose I'm boring cause some of you cats seem reeeeeeeaaaaaaaaalllllly interesting.

Hangman, with your list, how does your affinity for the Seahawks stack up in there?

Never use salt on food.

Call women mam'm, will not a women open the door for me.

Made 3 errors in one season of softball, and the next year made 3 in one inning. Had 19 walks in 21 at bats in a World tourney.

Will not use a straw for a cold drink (shakes OK)

Call back a waitress/waiter if one of my sons doesn't say thank you/please.

Wear Bama clothes during games. Could wear a different Bama cap for a whole month.

Use a napkin for every bite of food, had a beard my whole life. very slow eater.

Cry during movies and at the same spots on certain Andy Griffith shows. (knowing full well whats gonna happen)

I get a lot of grief for that... I take much pride in knowing that I'm the only Seahawks fan most people I've encountered have ever met.

If I'm at a bar or a restaurant and sitting at a place where I don't have a coaster, I'll be very meticulous about picking up and setting the cup down in the same exact spot so that the ring of condensation that's dripped down the side of the glass doesn't spread across the table or multiply into more rings. Didn't even notice I did it until someone finally told me at a bar a few years ago. I've apparently been doing it for years.

I wear underwear with at least some red in the pattern on a day either UofL or UDayton are going to play basketball.

I've carried a rosary in my back pocket every day since I was in college.

I always sing along with the national anthem when it's being performed.

I sing in the shower... much to the amusement of several roommates I've had through and since college...

If I'm eating M&Ms or Skittles or any such candy and I pour several into my hand, I always make sure that the yellow ones are eaten first to ensure the possibility that green and gold would not be the two colors remaining in my hand at the end. I have not now nor have I ever been associated with the colors of St. Xavier. Go Shamrocks.

When putting mayonnaise or butter on bread, I always spread the condiment to cover the whole piece of bread, not just large swaths of it. I get made fun of a lot for that one.

Before I go out, I count to make sure I have what I've come to refer to as "The Big 4".

Tap front left pocket to verify cell phone is there, tap front right pocket to verify iPod is there, tap left back pocket to verify wallet is there, and then look in my hand (yes, look.. Can't just feel) to verify my cars are there. And I physically count 1-2-3-4 out loud as I do so.

The wife makes fun of me. I don't care.

Last thing I do before I leave the house ... specticles, testicles, wallet, and phone. :D

I lightly touch a door before opening it. Even after knocking. I started doing it to dampen static electricity, but it is habit now.

Another movie related one for me, often times at key points I will get a feel for what I expect a character to say I like to guess out loud the lines that are going to be said before they say them. Usually when I do this I am right or very close. Movies that I have seen before, it is even worse. I can sneak one freebie in before the family tells me to stop it. But I never do this at the theater, only when watching at home.

I do the same thing. I also usually guess who the killer is 5 minutes into a mystery, whether it is a TV show, movie, or book. Drives Mrs. S nuts.

I love scaring people by jumping out of random places or catching them off guard but absolutely refuse to admit that I'm scared or blindsided even if its blatently obvious.

If there's a door in the room I'm sleeping for the night it has to be closed. On the flip side I will wake up the moment the door opens but if its left open someone could come in and have an entire conversation with me including responses from me and I won't remember it 9 times out of 10.

I hate cell phones that ring, I just think its rude when they go off and they shouldn't. I can't tell you the last time I had my phone set to anything but vibrate or silent.

I think college sports are generally more fun to watch and exciting than professional with the only exception being baseball because I'm just not that in to college baseball.

I like musicals.......

I sleep face down, with my right hand open on my stomach, and my left hand opened on my chest. I have no idea why...it's quite comfy.
