This was one of those games I watched knowing it was going to be very one sided. The fumble and the drive that followed by Highlands was the ball game.

I know my math is shaky but I counted 7 fumbles for FS.

 

Yes they did, however they only lost 2 of those. The big one happened on the 1. I highly doubt it would have changed the outcome.

I believe Highlands just tied it with 5. Boyle County also won 5 in a row. So Highlands will be going for that record next season. Please correct me if wrong.

 

My question is what is the record for consecutive appearances in the championship game? Beechwood had seven straight from 1991-1997 winning 6 titles and a runnerup finish in 1995. Is 7 the record?
