I cant remember the kids name but #4 for F.S. was one of the most exciting players to watch in the finals this weekend. I dont know the exact number of rushing yards he had but many of his yards came after contact. He put the ball on the ground several times but he was very fun to watch with the rock in his hands. I would say he had over 150 by himself!

I heard there was some trickery with jerseys for the final game that even had the media faked out. Kenton Noran #49 was injured and didnt play but let DB Ben Streeter wear his jersey during the game. On that FS fumble at the 1 yrd line, apparently Streeter was the one that forced the fumble but the media thought it was Noran. So Noran gets the pub while standing on the sidelines and Streeter gets no love except for at the afterparty when Noran thanked all the Sr's and especially Streeter who got him some paper time. LOL Good Stuff....

 

How bout Bowden and the game he had? He was a fun kid to watch on the defensive side of the ball. What a way to go out to all the Sr's. Get better Ozzie and show the Wildcats what you got. Looking forward to watching you don the Blue and White.

Yeah what a stud he was. If I was HHS though he would of been dead tired midway through the 3rd more than he already was. I would of ran a fresh body past him at the safety position on every down. Sort of like what Ramsey from Cincinnati Elder did in 2000 to Brett Hamblem. Brett was probably the best player on the field but had to chase a nobody down the field on just about every down and then when it came time for Brett to perform he was done. Just my 2 cents though!

I can't wait to go back and watch the film, because from ground level it was hard to see how he was gaining so much yardage on each carry. He may have good speed, but it's not like he was using it to get around the edge. What I saw was very good patience, waited for an opening to come, exploded through it once he found it (and it didn't appear he needed a very big opening to begin with), and was very slippery from there on out. Nice, nice athlete, and very frustrating for defenses.

Everything was exciting about him. He seemed to talk a bunch of trash, hit hard, fumbled the ball, looked very fast on the KO returns, just a bunch of energy and anticipation when he had the ball. Definitely needs to improve his ball security.
