Beginning to wonder, I know that Quick is only a Junior. Will Trinity lose much from this years team in 2012?

 

I believe they lose four offensive linemen.

That could be tough, but if they're retaining that much at the skilled position it could almost make up for it.

Maybe i am being naive but i seriously doubt it. Trinity is owning neighboring states, until I see them beat an Aquinas, Pratt, Bosco, Gaffney, or De la salle i won't fall victim.

We would play with Prattville and Bosco this year. Beat Gaffney and Aquinas.....crush De La Salle (they aren't even close)....and yes I follow the national scope very, very closely. If we aren't Top 3, this year, I'd be shocked to see the team knock us out. All that being said, we could go out and get beat first week of the playoffs and it's all for naught.

I would imagine the underclassmen are getting a ton of experience this year though.

Anyone in the country? that's your opinion but have you seen Don Bosco Prep, or St. Thomas Aquinas, or Pratville Alabama? Yes they look superior to neighboring states but what about highschool football in Texas, Florida, Alabama, and California? You would be nieve to believe Trinity could beat anyone in the country. Take the top schools from all those powerhouse highschool football states and match them with trinity and you're looking at a lot of upset minds in KY.

 

I know you can't compare scores, but Miami Central (a top 25 USA Today team) beat Elder on a last second fg. And we all know what Trinity did to Elder. I believe this year's Trinity team could compete and beat anyone in the country.

On a national scene Gaffney hasnt been the big South Carolina team as of late until this year. Dorman and Byrnes typically are the best teams, but both are down in a major way this year. I am just talking about this year though. This year Trinity is that good, have they been in the past... Maybe 1 other year, but the way Trinity is severely beating traditional powers is extremely impressive. I hope in the coming years we start to see Trinity play those schools. I also think the Trinity plays a much better team game than many of those mentioned above. This is an interesting year where talent and top notch coaching are combined.

You are in serious denial. It's called giving credit when it's due. You should try it sometimes it won't make you a rock fan. Just ask yourself if Trinity did beat those Teams would you then say those teams are having a down year. If the answer is yes, you are in total denial along with so many others that have done this with teams they've played thus far. Just try an be bigger than that.

Your delusional, get out and check the national polls and have a look at the nationally ranked teams they have already taken down, some were taken down hard

Another vote for Trinity being able to play with or beat any team in the nation this year. If you're a high school football fan and haven't seen them this year, you owe it to yourself to do so. Even at a place like Trinity, teams like this just don't come around every year.

They will be even better next year...

My two (or three) cents:

 

1. There are probably 20 teams in the country that could beat T, but T could beat all of them also (and would probably be favored). In order for a KY team to beat T the Rocks would have to have about 6 turnovers and 125 penalty yds. In other words, the Rocks would have to beat themselves.

 

2. The Rocks will be as good next year as they are this year, but not better. Yes, their juniors age up, but they lose a LOT of seniors (including the entire offensive line).

 

3. I think they will finish 2nd in the national polls behind Don Bosco. Having said that, I think T would beat DB. There are several teams in AL & FL that I think are better than DB and would give the Rocks a tougher game.
