As I was leaving the game Ft Wright EMS came down Dixie Highway. Did they come to the field for someone?

They put a neck brace on him and put him on a backboard before taking him to the ambulance. I only go back and look when the game doesn't go as expected. There were a lot of people who predicted this to be a blowout so there should be plenty of crow for everyone.:D

Anyone hear any news on the Highlands player injured on the last play of the game. I believe it was Bowden. Saw the ambulance coming in as we were leaving.

 

BF it was #17 Bowden and what bother/scared me for the young man, was the EMS staff stopped on the field on their way out and seemed to do some work on him as they were carting him out. Not sure what they were doing, but they stopped pushing him out and seemed as I said to work on him some!

 

Said a prayer for him at the time...HHS fans please let us know if the young man is OK!

The offensive line kicked Higlands tail period! Our offensive did not come off

qb scrambles. I give Highlands credit for winning but be fare on comments. The offensive line does not call the plays.

That IMO was the biggest play of the day. The score would have been 42-39 late in the 4th. CCH's kicker is really good.

Someone had mentioned that Chad had his bell rung on the 2 point conversion earlier. They are saying definitely a concussion but also has some neck and back issues.

This is quibbling, but why didn't CCH use their last two TO's. HHS takes over on downs around the 17 yard line with :45 to go and CCH let's them kneel it out. If CCH uses the TO's, it goes like this.

 

1st down - HHS kneels; TO CCH; :43 to go.

2nd down - HHS kneels; TO CCH; :41 to go.

3rd down - HHS kneels; :25 second play clock; TO HHS with :16 to go.

4th down - Highlands punts?

 

If CCH gets the ball back they have the chance for bad snap on punt, block the punt, return the punt, one or two plays on offense for Hail Mary's. Of course, Highlands may have stopped kneeling and run offense. If they do, the chance to fumble comes into play. I know it is all very remote that CCH could have made a play at that point but I will take some chance over giving up.

 

HHS took over on downs with 45.7 left. That was taken from a text I sent when it occured.

That is your own made up rule. If you predict a 42-3 victory and win 42-37....some crow should be eaten.
